I love my Sigg water bottles. I have purchased several different styles/designs for my family members. BPA free and easy to care for. Sigg offers different top options to suit different drinking styles and age groups. They also offer different sized bottles. Sigg bottles are pricier than others but the quality in design and durability of materials makes them worth it.
I finally made the plunge into the BPA-free water bottles. I bought the SIGG children's bottle (0.4L) because it's the perfect size and the design on the outside is really cute. I also love the water sprout which is easy to use and the cap is sturdy. I also bought one for my mom (0.3L Kidz bottle) and one for my husband (0.75L sports bottle) for Christmas and they both love their bottles.
I paid $20.99 CDN for this water bottle (0.4L) and I think it is a lot to spend on a water bottle. I don't think I'll buy another one even though I really love this one. However, the cost of SIGG bottles are very comparable to other similar products on the market (eg. Klean Kanteen) and SIGG's designs are definitely more attractive.
My only real complaint about this particular bottle is that the outside of the bottle scratches very easily. The white circular design on the bottle (see picture of orange bottle) already has several silver coloured scratch marks and I can't wash it off. I've only been using the bottle for 2 weeks and mostly just around the house.
I have 5 of these water bottles! lol and one of them is a hello kitty one :D I love them. They come in soo many different styles and they're so much better for your body. Plus they last alot longer than the plastic ones and are environmentally friendly. If you have kids, they also make little 4 oz sigg bottles with kids designs on them! they're waaay cute! My husband used to work for the company and it really amazed me how many different styles they have. You could literally have one for every mood and outfit :P seriously, i would invest in one though, because beside the awesome style, the water tastes so good and so cold for so much longer :)
I've been using this for about a year. I really like it! I find some plastic bottles like the nalgene ones get warm too quickly. My water stays cooler in this one. My water also tastes better. I'm sure they'll eventually find a way to say these bottles are bad too but for now I'm really happy with it!
I completely ADORE my Sigg. It goes everywhere with me. Like the last reviewer, I also bought mine when Nalgenes were pulled and I don't think I will ever regret this purchase. Sure, the bottles are pricey...but they have designs to suit pretty much anyones taste - from conservative to ultra funky. The contents never taste stale and in the month I've had it, it hasn't taken on any odd smells. I resisted the move to a metal bottle for a long time and now I regret not changing over sooner.
I bought both myself and my hunny 1 litre bottles. He loves his just as much as i love mine...and even said "Don't expect me to have just one of these" ... I fully anticipate myself buying a second one shortly to keep at the office.
I love my Sigg water bottle! I bought it when manufacturers decided to pull all Nalgene water bottles from the shelves from the whole controversy of the chemical bisphenol. Aside from all the cute designs you get to choose from, it really is a sturdy water bottle! And most importantly it doesn't leak at all! I've left soda in there for several days and it will still remain as carbonated the day I poured it in. The water doesn't taste stale or plastic even after it's left in there for several days. I used to have that problem with regular Nalgene water bottles. All the materials used to make the Sigg bottle are environmentally and human health friendly. I would definitely recommend this as the alternative to the other water bottles. Unfortunatlely they are hard to find in Toronto, so you either have to buy them online or check their website for the locations that are selling them.
