SIGGIS SIMPLE INGREDIENT SKYR
Siggi's yogurt
I live in Canada Vancouver and I used to love cherry and vanilla Siggi's Yogurt. I don't know what happened, but it doesn't taste the same. It's no longer thick and its full of sugar. It's extremely sweet and I had to return it several times. I can no longer purchase it. It's sad, because it was the best yogurt I ever had. Also, the only place I was able to purchase it was the superstore. I wish that they would bring back their original yogurt and have it available at several stores.
Very Tart
I had a coupon, so I figured I would try this yogurt. I got the raspberry and it is very, very tart. For myself, this is not necessarily a bad thing because I do prefer tart over sweet.... but this was REALLY tart. I would not call it sour as I see some others are calling it. To me, tart and sour are two completely different things. Anyway, I think I will probably try a couple of the other flavors....strawberry sounds good as does vanilla and cinnamon. It is very thick and creamy and for an added plus, it is all natural! Yes, I would recommend this product to someone else.
It's not greek yogurt
I love this stuff. It's Icelandic Skyr so it's not greek yogurt. It has the consistency (thick) of greek yogurt (big thumbs up for me) but it definitely has a more sour taste. I've bought plenty of the single serving fruit ones (yummy) and when all mixed up, I don't even notice the sourness (but I do like sour things). Recently, I've been buying the larger plain tubs and mixing in my own fruit and granola. Without the add-ins, it's too sour for me but with mixings, it's delicious! (And 0 points if you're doing Weight Watchers SP)
Thick and luxurious
You know you have a good product when the ingredients are simple and a small list
The taste at first is tart but I am completely fine with that since the ingredients tells you exactly why....it is sweeten with fruit blend not processed sugar like the rest!!!
I am so happy and grateful for brands like this that actually care about what the customer / consumer puts into their system!
Thanks Siggi's!!! your yogurt rocks!
Yummy Greek yogurt!
I just recently bought this yoghurt while I was at the grocery store and all I can say is that it is such a luxuriously thick creamy Greek yogurt. I absolutely love this brand and will continue to buy it in the future. It is a bit expensive but in my opinion it is worth the price.
Not For Me
I received this yogurt for free with a fpc. I found it to be very thick in texture and very sour. It isn’t anything like the yogurt I eat everyday, which is sweeter and creamier. The price isn’t bad and it wasn’t on sale when I picked it up. I was very disappointed to say the least, I won’t be purchasing this yogurt in the future.
Healthy yogurt !
I tried this yogurt since I got a coupon for free yogurt . It comes in 500g and costs around $4.98 at superstore . I tried strawberry, black cherry and blueberry flavours . Honestly , I could not differentiate these favours since all three yogurts tasted the same . I like that it has very little added sugar and it is made with Canadian milk . In terms of different flavours , I personally couldn’t tell the difference and it all tasted the same . It’s not as sweet as other yogurt and it is healthier . My favourite way of eating this yogurt is to add little nuts and a teaspoon of honey .
