Similac Mom is comparable to all the other brands, Ensure, Boost, etc.. just slightly tailored made more for Moms. However, having Gestational Diabetes, this is not a product that I can consume. The second ingredient in this product is SUGAR. This bothers ,me, wether I am diabetic or not. There are so many alternatives to processed sugars or artificial sweeteners.. ie: STEVIA. If sugar doesn't bother you - it'd comparable to like brands. If you dn't want to spend the money without trying it - Similac has an incredible Pregnancy and infant program - where they send you A LOT of free samples, coupons, etc... That way you can try it first. I personally, probably won't buy it again.

I did not like this one bit. Couldn't get past the taste. Not for me.

I received a coupon from similac club to try this drink. Being 8 months pregnant I need to keep full and make sure I am getting propper nutrition. I bought chocolate and loved it. It tasted like chocolate milk, so it satisfied my chocolate cravings all while providing me a healthy snack. They are good for a quick breakfast or snack when you cant decide what you want.

Not everyone can stomach the taste of these drinks. My doctor had recommended I take them during my pregnancy. I didn't find they were too bad. I would often mix them with strawberries in a blender to make a smoothie. The price can be a little high for those with limited incomes, but you can get $10 cheques from signing up with the Similac Club, which will often lower the price to $1 or less when it is on sale.

A great product for busy moms. Price is comparable to other meal replacement drinks, but it voes on sale at Walmart often. The vanilla is better than the chocolate but both flavours have to be REALLY cold - I take it out of the fridge and drink it within a minute and still get a bit of the medicinal taste. Convenient to have on hand for the times when you just cant make something or don't get a chance to eat.

love the taste, it tastes like a milkshake, I found it a little pricy, but if you get a hold of the 10.00 similac for mom cheques it is worth buying

I used this while having my 2 kids! I loved the taste! it worked well and found it a great meal filler!

What a great product. I recieved a coupon for these in a gft bag from Similac and tried them out. They are great during pregnancy when you feel ravenous AAAAALLLLLLLL the time! It was a staple for me during the morning (all day) sickness, to stay feeling full, without binging on poutine. I brought a pack with me to the hospital, which was great as it was a very set schedule for food, and I was there for 3 days after my c-section, so it was nice having a small snack in between meals. Then during the newborn stages when I was finding it difficult to balance life, eating, sleeping, and baby, these were often a go to when I didn't have the time to feed myself. I felt like I was eating a balanced diet without having to put much thought into it. The only thing I do notice is sometimes the vanilla ones have a metallic taste, and they taste awful if not refrigerated.
