Cleans your face but...
I originally purchased this for my daughter as she needed to begin a face care regimen for her sensitive skin. She's been using it for 2 yrs and is currently 10yrs old. She has no side effects from using it, and loves the ease of use of the pump and the foamy lather it produces. The price is decent for the amount you get and I often find it on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart.
I have tried it on occasion to cleanse my own face and I always seem to break out into hives throughout the day after use. At first I thought it was just seasonal environmental sensitivity reactions, but when I noticed it only happened when using this facial cleanser, I deduced it was the culprit.
So if you decide to purchase, be aware that you may react to it.
But it's fine for my kiddo, so I'll keep buying it for her. For me, there are better products out there.
Just okay
I wanted to try this foaming cleanser because I prefer foaming cleansers and the fact that is more clean than other product on the market it spoke to me. I really didn't like it. I felt it was more like a regular liquid soap instead of a facial cleanser and I found after a couple of days my skin was drying out. I wouldn't recommend this product.
Just Average
I got a full sized sample of this product in a beauty box. It may be great for normal skin but I would not recommend it for oily skin. Just does not seem to clean very deeply.
This works not bad...but not great. It is also quite expensive and filled with non natural ingredients (so I hate that the "simple" name is added to this brand as they really aren't simple products at all).
This liquid to foam cleanser works well to remove makeup, SPF, etc. However, it contains fragrant plant oils that I personally find quite irritating to my eyes.
PROS:
It's water soluble and rinses quite well
Great for removing makeup.
not expensive
CONS:
Something in this cleanser is incredibly irritating to my eyes
I do not have typically sensitive skin... so if I'm experiencing sensitivity, then I can only imagine what someone with truly sensitive skin is experiencing
Why on earth would anyone formulate a cleanser that stings the eyes? This is my biggest 'cleanser pet peeve!' As long as you don't find the formula irritating this is a good value cleanser.
The quality of this line is not up to my standard, I guess. The function isn't quite as promised, and while the price point is good, would not purchase again (even on sale as it was). Doesn't wash off well, leaves not dry not moisturized, and sort of looks dull afterward. Maybe it's really only best for a teen face?
I honestly was not a big fan of this cleanser. I have oily skin and this product just didn't really seem to do the job as well as I had hoped. For someone with normal skin I'm sure it would provide much better results but it just wasn't for me.
I bought this a few months ago in an attempt to try more natural skincare ingredients. Sadly it didn't work for my skin. It made my face feel really clean but for some reason I was breaking out more when I use this cleanser. But it could just be that my sensitive, combination skin just doesn't react well to foam cleansers. I will go back to cream cleansers which so far has been the only kind that works. This does make a good hand wash, though. It lathers up very well and makes my hands really soft. :)
this foaming cleanser does foam up ..i find a lot of foaming ones do not foam up at all. this is gentle on skin and cleanes good .this will not dry out your skin...
I really like that this product is foaming but i didn't really find it did anything special for my skin. I have oily skin that is acne prone. This didn't really get me the deep clean i need.
