Good for some
I decided to give this a go for the SPF properties and no added perfume/ fragrance.
I have a very sensitive skin on my face and cannot use most SPF products and most things with fragrance/perfume but this one seemed great as has no harsh chemicals and no fragrance....
Well I tried it once and kept it on for several hours no immediate reactions as such in terms of skin redness or the like and it felt good on my oily skin as is not too greasy however the STRONG chemical SMELL hit me like a ton of bricks! I was shocked that a product that is supposed to have no fragrance smelled so strongly!!! As the hours passed I could not longer tolerate the smell that made me feel kinda dizzy and had to wash it off......so it went in the bin.
If you aren't sensitive to fragrance this might be great for you compared to many other harsher products on the market but if you are I would not recommend it.
This moisturizer is ok for summer time. It is light and not greasy. Doesn't work well for winter and dry skin. It is pretty thin so it I didn't like that for spf protection. It was ok on my sensitive skin though. I found I need to alternate with another moisturizer to get the desired soft skin. I wouldn't recommend his product.
I have been a fan of Simple skincare products for years. I used to use the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturizer as my daytime moisturizer, but I haven't been able to find it for a long time now. It seems they discontinued it in favour of this, so I decided to give it a try.
This has a mild SPF in it (15), whereas the original Hydrating Light Moisturizer did not contain any. While that's definitely a plus because it's a good thing to protect your skin from the sun, this unfortunately seemed to mess with what was already a good formula, and for me personally, makes it less enjoyable to wear on my skin.
I love Simple products because I have very sensitive skin and I'm also very sensitive to fragrance, and all of their past products had been perfume/fragrance-free. Because of the addition of SPF, this naturally has a smell to it, and it's one that I don't particularly like or tolerate. I would much rather use my own suncare product, which I know will not irritate me. This is also considerably more greasy and considerably less comfortable on my skin than the original formula. It's the only cream from Simple that leaves me looking shiny and which breaks me out.
I wish they had left the original light moisturizer as part of their line and given shoppers a choice between the two, rather than discontinuing one all together. I wouldn't recommend this one if you are looking to avoid that greasy feeling and unfortunate, chemical-like SPF smell.
À cause de la protection UV, cette crème chauffe la peau si nous avions des blessures ou des rougeurs. Elle n'est donc pas recommandée pour les peaux sèches et sensibles.
Nice basic starter moisturizer for someone who is concerned about using natural and healthy products. I need something with better ingredients but aside from that it works well.
I really enjoy the SPF and sheerness of this lotion, nice formula. However, I absolutely loathe most of their products because of their terrible scents, this one is no exception.
I like that Simple Kind to Skin Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF15 is not greasy and has SPF 15 protection cause sometimes I forgot to put my sunscreen on it.
Maybe it was just my skin at the time but I found this product made my face feel more oily than usual and I broke out. I tried using it for a couple of weeks with no improvement. I did try other products afterwards with similar results so it may have just been my skin at the time for whatever reason. I haven't tried this product since.
This product is only okay because it's not the best and it's not the worst. I find that it doesn't do anything for my skin and remains the same. However, I do like that it is perfume free and that it's not as greasy as other moisturizers.
I got this it was on offer and Boots had run out of their (better and cheaper) Simply Sensitive day moisturiser.
This is nothing special. It doesn't break me out but it doesn't make my skin look good either. It makes my eyes sting and water when I put it on but anything with SPF does that. I like the scent though.
