This is now the third brand of cleansing water that I have tried and I have to say that I am impressed with the Simple Miscellar Cleansing Water. It feels a lot more gentle on my sensitive skin than other brands and does not seem to leave my skin dry. In saying that it still has the same level of grime/makeup removal power as the other brands. Micellar water has now replaced my old cleansing routine (cleanser & water) and Simple is the brand I am sticking with! It has a GREAT price point and is a find!
I liked how gentle this cleaning water was on my dry skin, it didn't sting or burn. I would have liked it to be a little bit more effective on removing water-resistant mascara, but the rest came off easily.
This was my first time trying a micellar cleansing water, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed!
Applying this to my skin felt soo refreshing and did not irritate my sensitive skin at all.
My only problems were that you need a good amount of product to remove all your makeup and that it didn't remove my waterproof mascara.
Great as cleanser. From use it works just as well as simple's foaming cleanser minus the foaming. I like how you don't have to rinse your face after this. It's a nice one and done. All i had to do was put some on a cotton pad and wipe it over my face got all the gunk off from the day and any leftover makeup.
I definitely recommend it for use more as a cleanser and not so much as a makeup remover as there are better makeup removers on the market.
I received the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water as part of the Chicken Advisor Review Club. I have been using the Bioderma Micellar water for the past while so was happy to try out a different and cheaper alternative.
Pros: no scent or burn, do not need to rinse off, no residue. My face felt fresh and clean. It's also very cheap compared to other Micellar waters.
Cons: I felt as if it didn't remove makeup as effectively, especially waterproof mascara. I needed to use 5 cotton pads and I still had some mascara left on my lashes.
I think I will stick with bioderma for now but I look forward to trying out the other Simple products as I like that they have no strong scents.
I received this as free as part of a review for Chickadvisor, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! smells great and works fantastic, I will no longer be using baby oil! Thank you Simple Skin Care
I received this product for free with the product review club. I was fearful because I tried the regular makeup remover which has the same bottle and I didn't like it. Fortunately, they changed the product because I loved it!
I received this product free through the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I love micellar cleansing waters instead of harsh cleansers. I used this one right away and it did a pretty good job of removing all my make up leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturised without stripping it. The only bit it struggled with was my mascara, and it wasn't even waterproof. That being said, I would totally buy this instead of the very expensive Bioderma one I'm using right now. it works just as well!
When I try this product I will be very happy it so fantastic product and the cost is very interesting! I recommend it for every one ! It's a very good product ! :) My skin was very dry and now my skin is wonderfull !
This product does exactly what it claims to do. The amount of cotton pads I have to use to clean my face with it to where I am satisfied though is a bit much. I use full coverage foundation and concealer and I use 4-5 cotton pads to where my face feels clean enough without water to put on my nighttime lotion before bed. To me that doesn't make sense for me time wise. I would rather just wash my face and rinse and have my face feel much cleaner and with a lot less garbage. Maybe taking something like this product camping in the summer or some place where you dont have access to water for cleansing? That said, it does clean your face if you dont mind spending and extra 5mins and a lot of rubbing on your skin.
