I tried Simple's Replenishing Rich Moisturizer along with their Micellar Cleansing Water and Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes. I applied the moisturizer after using either the wipes or the cleansing water, and I also used the moisturizer some days on its own. I don't find the moisturizer to be anything special, or even anything particularly good ! It's pretty average when it comes to smell, consistency, and moisture(only when first used).. But for me, the moisture isn't even absorbed into my skin. It stays on my skin unnoticed until I wash my face again -- whether it be a few hours later, or even overnight. I used it many nights and when I showered or washed my face in the morning, I felt the sliminess washing off as well, as if I just put lotion on my face and tried to wash it off immediately. I haven't seen any positive differences in my skin after using Simple's moisturizer, so sadly I don't think it is a product meant for me. But that doesn't mean I've lost all faith in the brand. Again, not for me, but I do know many people looking for natural products or ones with less chemicals to use. So after learning about the brand I would recommend them to others but still tell them my personal experiences for them to make the decision to try them out or not.
I received this product through Chick Advisor's Product Review Club program in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion.
This product has a great price point, but unfortunately my sensitive skin had a negative reaction to it. It became a bit itchy and red, and although I tried it a couple times to see if I had a better shot at using it, I just couldn't unfortunately!
I was provided this product for review.
I thought I would really enjoy this product due to my very sensitive skin. It has cleaner ingredients than other moisturizers. But when I started to use it I noticed that around my nose and mouth areas, it started to dry up even more. It then eventually started to peel lightly in those areas. I unfortunately had to stop using it. :(
Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to this product. My skin was red, burning and itchy seconds after applying this to my face. The cream also had a smell that reminded me of a hospital which lingered for the better part of the day. It's a shame because I was really excited about trying a new moisturizer.
I received this product as part of the chick advisor product review club and I really wanted to like it. I felt it did moisturize my face and make my skin feel soft but I felt the lack of fragrance didn't smell nice and made me want to wile it off, the smell really lingered. I probably won't buy this product but I would recommend it to others who are sensitive to fragrance.
It is an average moisturizer, I would say that there was anything special or great about it. However it is a good everyday no fuss face moisturizer. I would say great for a teenager.
I received Simple Rich Moisturizer to try for free from Chick Advisor. While I love that there are no colourants, perfumes or additives to aggravate my skin, my skin began to blemish during the 7 days I used the moisturizer. Perhaps there may have been an underlying cause (stress, hormones, etc) though I'm unsure, as it began to clear up when I stopped using the moisturizer. I do like the feel, it absorbed quickly and moisture lasted.. but due to the blemishes I had while using I'm unsure if I would give it another chance and therefore am also undecided about recommending it to others.
This was another product I was excited to try. I have combination skin. Parts are really dry while others are oily. I always find in the winter my skin is dryer then normal so I thought this product would be really good to keep the moisture in. But I have to say after using it for a while I found it didnt really replenish my skin with rich moisturizer as the product suggests. I did find that it was way to light and didnt go well when I used it under my makeup. It just made my makeup go on in clumps. It was very hard to blend.
I dont know what it is but I find these products aren't good for my skin at all.. Just made me break out and gave me red blotches. While it may be good for others skin its just not good for me at all.
I received this through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and wasn't super impressed. Although it is fragrance-free I still felt like it left a weird smell on my skin. It wasn't greasy but I personally don't feel like it moisturized well. In addition, it doesn't have an SPF and that is something I look for in ALL my moisturizers, especially as we are approaching the nice weather and sunshine. Give it a try for yourself, especially if you have sensitive skin as I think it works well for those who have sensitivities.
This moisturizer just isn't for me. My t-zone felt uncomfortably sticky and I had a major breakout a few days into using it. The cream was very thick and creamy which was pleasant but unfortunately, it wasn't suitable for my skin-type.
