100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
This is something I have in my Home and it is my prize possession. It belonged to my Mother,God Bless her.It was given to my sister, who lives home at the time and she couldn't use it so,she gave it to me.I do a lot of sewing with it from making Sheers to Drapes to hemming and taking in clothes that's too big.I fairly talk to it because my Mom done all her sewing with it also so,it gives me great pride to use it.I think the Sewing Machine that I have is,probably one of the first ones that ever come out, some of them today are electric ,but mine isn't.I have to oil it sometimes with a WD-40 oil.just drop a little in some holes or around the handle and wheel so i doesn't seize up.That's what happens to a sewing machine if you don't use it very often.Another thing to remember when using any kind of a Singer Sewing Machine is to always use the cotton with the brand name on it Singer because if you don't,you'll have nothing only troubles sewing with it.I tried a different cotton and about every foot or so,it would go off stitch sewing or the coton would break.I use to buy my cotten at Sears Dept Store because sometimes it is hard to find.No matter what colour you are using in a machine make sure it says Singer on top. Also another good idea is to
use same cootton in the Bobbin otherwise, you'll be sewing with two different coloured threads.
Love my Singer Simple Sewing machine. I purchased it on a whim after my other sewing machine broke. I didn't really want to spend a lot of money and I wasn't exactly sure if this machine would last but I needed to finish quilts for a Christmas gift. My machine took everything I threw at it and is still working great. I've since got some different feet and I love the versatility of my sewing machine. Money well spent!!!
