Good for sensory activities.

I received this sink n' sand Product for free from butterly and the spin master for exchange of my honest review. My daughter loves it,she love picking The sand up and letting The sand run off her fingers. Be careful with the toddlers they love to play with sand and try to put in there mouth as well. My nephew love to play with the sand and the soldiers. Otherthing i love about it sand is its not the dye and won't leave any stains on the kids clothes. Very good for sensory and motor development of the kids. Must gave a try .

Fun family game!

This game is so fun! My 5 year old had a lot of fun with it. The fact there is a ruby gem made it that much more exciting for her. It is easy to setup and since it uses Kinetic sand it really didn't make that much of a mess. It will definitely be kept in rotation for game night.

Fun activity to share

This game is fun. My son likes it, he is always the last explorer standing. Easy to set up and cleaning is easy as well. The kinetic sand looks like a real quick sand too. This game is great for kids as it let them think whic stick to pull first to win. My son is 5 years ols and really happy about this.

Love the quality, and quite engaging for kids

We love the quality of this game. It's quite safe for kids and do not even create any mess. The rules of the game are very interesting too, my 5 years old son loved playing with it at least 3 times a day :)

Kinetic Sand and Kids never go wrong.

I have to say that I was I surprised to see that kinetic sand is not that messy. Especially when staying at a hotel room, but we had fun and there was no mess. We have been having a great time with this game. We appreciate the opportunity to try this Spin Masters game.

Makes Family Time Entertaining

Thank you butterly and spin master for sending my little one Sink N’ Sand, Quicksand Kids Board Game with Kinetic Sand. Honestly we as a family loved it and it came in just before long weekend so just in time for us to enjoy together as a family. My daughter loved the adventurous little board game feel but with a twist of more realistic kinetic sand adventure. Its very easy to assemble and store away so the kinetic sand which is the main thrill of the game stays safe. Easy to understand how to play and very interesting perfect for little fingers to master their motor skills and critical thinking too.

Fun game, one minor thing

I was so excited to receive this game! We played it and had fun! My only complaint was the kinetic sand and the characters… they wouldn’t stay up on their spots! I tried redoing the tiles lighter but then couldn’t see the shapes, and tried not packing it in as tight but the quicksand fell through the sticks even before removing any… too tight or too loose and the characters fell to soon or the sand fell too soon. Other than that, our preschooler had an absolute blast playing and we will for sure add this to our game rotation!

Fun for the whole family

My daughter had fun playing this game by Spin Master. The set up took a few minutes to put together. It does require a little assistance for the little ones but for older chilren, it should be fairly easy. I definitely liked how Kinetic Sand is used in this game because it's easy to clean up! Also, watching it slowly drop to the base makes it look like quick sand. This game can be played multiple times because it's quick and easy to put back together.

Pretty fun game

If you're looking for a unqiue, fun and quick game, Sink N' Sand is a pretty good choice.
Kinetic Sand already is so fun on it's own, having a game which incorporates the sand is a great idea. I love the theme of it being a quicksand trap!
The set up is cute and able to set it up together with the kids, they helped with inserting the sticks while, I put the actual base together. Another bonus is, you don't need much to start and learn the game fairly quickly. Clean up is also a breeze since with Kinetic Sand, there's not much of a mess! Also the game is designed that the sand falls into the game base which is where you will house the sand when the game is over anyway.
However, I found 3 cons while playing this game.
1. This type of Kinetic Sand is not as fine as the individual ones sold (i think) it's more grainy to me so it's a bit harder. When I try to push the mold into sand to form the mold design, I pushed really hard and I still barely made a design, so definitely a job for a stronger little kid haha.
2. The sand near the edges since there's no support anymore, doesn't fall like how the sand would expect, instead a whole chunk just plops down. It happened near the end and the kids were a bit sadden by that part.
3. Sunk 'n Duncan during pack up does not actually fit inside the base. I took it apart to store it, and if you put Duncan inside, it pops the top up a little and then the lid isn't secure. Unfortunately, due to his lasso, I had to sacrifice him and put him aside in a little baggie for storage, away from his friends.

Other than that, the game is pretty fun for the kids, they can play by themselves actually but of course better together with family and friends. They can also play it as a roleplay too!

keeps the kids busy!

I received this in the mail yesterday ever since I assembled it for my kids(game instructions were extremely helpful) I gave this to my nieces and nephew they had an amazing experience! The kids loved the sand so much that it was super fun they didn’t want to go to bed (had to hide it away!) I found the game to be entertaining and engaging although it seemed at times a little challenging for a 4-5 year old but what I loved about the sand was, it wasn’t messy at all, toxic free, easy to clean the surfaces as well and it doesn’t dry out. This game is great for the family as it adds joy & laughter even between adults we loved it! The little figures that are included, my nephew really enjoyed them and it was interesting to see who’s going to fall into the sand. Definitely recommend this if your looking for a game that is greatly price & will keep the kids occupied.
