Was excited to try this serum.

When I received a sample of this I was excited to try it. After all hyaluronic acid is all the rage. This serum claims to plump the skin, improve firmness and texture. Not to mention this serum has rave reviews. I unfortunately didnt have overly great results. Although it did seem to make my skin appear more plump and my frown lines less visible it also caused facial redness. My skin is not overly sensitive however when I looked at the ingredients alcohol denat
is one of the top five ingredients. Although there are alcohols( such as ceteary alcohol) which is good for the skin this one is not. Its a known irritant and not good for the skin.

Thinking that this serum retails for 120$ for a 30 ml bottle really surprises me. Im also very surprised at all the good reviews it has. Not to mention this serum leaves a tacky feeling on the skin. The good thing I can say about this serum is I applied it on my lips and accidentally licked my lios and noticed it had a nice sweet taste. Its also paraben free and like I said previously it did plump up the skin. If it wasnt for the fact that it left my skin looking slightly red making me investigate the ingredients I probably would have loved this product too.
