This is a jelly type makeup that is applied to the face, and it surprisingly has really excellent coverage. The finish is much like a bb cream, but it is a lot more matte and takes less time to dry/sink in on my face. It's pretty long lasting and doesn't rub off very easily, and is a good summer proof base makeup item.
