You get what you pay for!

I started using this product about 5 years ago at the lowest dosing .25 as recommended. This product is by far one of the best ones I've ever purchased for my buck. It's intended purpose is to help your skin texture and tone (small little wrinkles!). If used right, once you've worked your way up to using it daily, it will leave your skin feeling plumper and significantly softer. I've also noticed that I have less redness and blotchiness. This allows me to feel better and not having to wear color correction cream!

My favorite retinol product

This is the most gentle retinol I have ever used. Tried many other medical grade retinol product and this is the most gentle. I have been using this for the past 3 months with amazing results and no irritation. Strongly recommend it.

This is recommended, but with some warnings. If you have never used a retinol product before and especially at this concentration, it is highly advised that you start at the lowest level and gradually work your way up as your skin gets used to it. It should be applied at night. Some form of skin protection is needed during the day. Ignoring this will increase the chances of redness and peeling of the skin. This is very potent stuff.

The packaging is excellent for providing a measured dose of the cream without exposing it to air. It is a heavy duty bottle that will look elegant in a bathroom. The scent reminds me a little of cinnamon (maybe it is just me.) The dosage, though small, will be enough for the entire face. My skin feels smooth upon application - and throughout the night. Skin looks plumper and with reduced acne scarring. (Cannot verify for wrinkles yet.)

It is very expensive and can usually be found either online or the doctor's office, but it works well.
