Cooling scrub but meh

I hear many accolades for the famous DermAppeal® Microdermabrasion Treatment but the scrub is quite abrasive for facial skin. It says to scrub for up to 2 minutes but it very drying and gritty. I didn't find any difference on my skin after using it for several months, using it 1 - 2 xs per week. I love the minty cooling aspect and fragrance is nice but not overpowering. I actually had it on auto delivery from Today's Shopping Choice (TSC) so I started using it on my feet since I had multiple times piling up. Being premenopausal it was great to cool down my (nonfacial) skin and my hot feet and kept me cooler at night. But overall it's expensive, comes in a small tube and didn't make a difference to the look or texture of my skin.
