I ordered this kitchen scale because I've recently started to make my own candy and Macaroons and I quickly discovered that the ingredients were not something that I could just eyeball. I needed to add the exact weight of each ingredient and found that super easy to do with this scale.

I was able to use this right out of the box because the batteries are included, which I love. This scale came calibrated and can be used in g, oz., ct., ozt., dwt and gn, with a maximum weight of 2000 g. I like that this also came with 2 lids that I can also use to weigh ingredients in. I purchased this at a discount from Amazon.ca but it's regularly priced at $19.99 and I think that it's very well made and priced extremely well.
