liquid lips

I'm not one to use red lip colour too often but I received a sample and found this metallic red to be incredible. Was a great sparkle and wet look. I've started using this colour more often. I even get compliments and asked about my lip colour choices. Would recommend this brand to anyone who asked about it.

A bit pricey, but good overall

$28 is more than I really want to spend on a liquid lipstick, but this formula is pretty good, so I might consider it. I got a sample size in a subscription box recently and I've been enjoying it.

The shade I have is Metallic True Red and it's an apt description. This is a bold, bright red and quite metallic. It's not glittery, just a beautiful metallic shine.

The doe foot applicator is traingular, so it has a nice tip for outlining the lips, and it's big enough that filling them in isn't a pain in the rear.

It doesn't seem to dry down and remains glossy. It is not transfer or smudge-proof at all.

Beautiful rich red with a fun metallic shine, it looks amazing! I was impressed by how long-lasting it is! It doesn't leave a sticky feeling, my lips are nice and smooth. Very good liquid lip formula, one of my favourites, a must-try! Not overly expensive for a good product.

I received a sample of this product in crimson chrome and it is soooo beautiful! I have never been a fan of metallic lips but this one was amazing, it made me question my tastes in lipstick. It is smooth, not sticky, very pigmented and truly metallic looking. It was extremely easy to wear and comfortable too. It didn't look over the top or robotic at all (my usual concern for metallics). It looked elegant! And the applicator is so unique, curved to fit your lip but still has a small tip for precision. 10/10 would recommend. The images do not do it justice.

Unique metalic lip colors.

I had a sample of Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Metal in Crimson Chrome and Haterade. Both were probably not colors I would have picked out on my own. The crimson color was a really deep red with a metalic look that was too bold for my liking. The Haterade was a color I wasnt expecting to like but I did. It was an orange-red color that was darker than what I was used to but looked nice. A darker color thats not overwhelming in the least. Both colors are very pigmented and very shiny and metalic. I used my lip brush to apply and it went on even. It did feel sticky and didn't really seem to dry. The colors come off easy and need to be reapplied after eatting and drinking. I will probably purchase Haterade for when I'm looking for something a little more bold than my usual nudes, pinks and mauves that I normally wear.

I have honestly never been a huge fan of the whole metallic liquid lipstick trend but somehow smashbox managed to make one that I actually like, no scratch that, love. They have beautiful wearable colors that aren't chunky or childish looking and are appropriate for daytime wear which is hard to come by when speaking about metallic lips. Its just enough that people notice your being edgy without looking silly. The packaging is lovely and I adore the applicator. It makes it very easy to get a nice sharp lip line and doesn't make a mess at all. The pigmentation is great and doesn't leave you with a horrid patchy metallic lip. If your going to wear a trendy lip such as this you need a product that isn't going to half ass it and have you looking like you didn't want to commit to the lip and it looks patchy. Just dont, go with something full opacity so people know you mean to look edgy. They also have a fairly decent wear time and can hang on through food and drink. You may have to touch up now and again just to keep your look looking fresh, but nothing out of the ordinary and much better wear time than a traditional lipstick. I highly recommend these, they have normal colors for day wear but they also have fun ones you might consider wearing out with your gf to the club or dancing the night away at a festival. Highly recommend if you want to try this trend, Do it right and buy one of the smashbox ones that is a great product and not A cheaper version that you will end up decluttering 5 months later bc you never wore it once.

This colour is à metallic true red. I got a lot of compliments today ! The only négative point is the staying power. The colour is transfering on the cup of coffee every sip! You loose this golden metallic effect.

I got the Smashbox Be Legendary liquid metal lip colour while I was at the VIB rouge event at Sephora on February 22. The Smashbox representative showed my friend and I these products and we just fell in love. I really feel that metallic lips are going to be coming into style.

These Liquid lipstick are highly pigmented giving you a beautiful semi-gloss metallic lip. They also have a smaller doe-foot applicator which gives you control over the product. They don't dry down, thus, also not drying out your lips. They can be slightly sticky but you stop noticing it after a while and they do last a few hours.

On top of that, they smell delicious! I have the colour Mauve squad and I am absolutely in love! Definitely go out and try them out; the full collect will be available on the Sephora's website on March 15, 2017. I can't wait!
