It's not super effective
I have very pronounced dark circles, and I notice no difference when I use this. I have to continually sharpen it as the cream in the stick wears down very quickly and then my skin gets scratched by the sharp shell layer.
I don’t enjoy the Smashbox Color Correcting Stick - I have it in Look less tired (Light) - Peach. When the product gets worn the outer edge gets super sharp and scratchy (pictured in the closeups) - as a result you have to sharpen the stick continually and wind up wasting a lot of product. The color corrector itself is fine, but I dislike the stick so much.
