I wanted this to be better since I was comparing it to the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil, but it's pretty good. Glides on well, super dark pigment (I have the black shade), but it transferred too much to my lower lashline. I didn't even apply any to the lower lashline, but I think it migrated because I apply eye cream during the day, which might have caused some shifting. Doesn't last all day, but while it does, it's a crisp, dark line that I love. Go for the UD version if you're looking for a truly life-changing liner.
I've had this product in a few of the colours. I really like the variety of colours and the ease of use. I have found that small liners I've got from subscribtion boxes or palettes tend to be on the drier side, compared to the larger size.
I bought this eyeliner at Shopper's Drug Mart recently, when my usual eyeliner was not in stock, and I was completely out of alternatives. The sales associate recommended it to me, but I was not too crazy about the price (I think I paid about $24 for it). The salesgirl was wearing it and it did look quite lovely, so I decided to go for it, since I was having an eyeliner emergency, and am I ever glad that I did!
The colour is highly-pigmented and intense. I bought it in the "Onyx" shade and it really brightens up my murky green eyes. It's waterproof, but not hard to wash off, and it doesn't smudge. My job involves a lot of physical activity, and this eyeliner stays put throughout an 8-9 hour shift. At the end of the day, it looks just as fresh as it had in the morning.
The sharpener is handy, but it does not give you a super-sharp point. It took me a while to get used to applying it, but now that I know what I'm doing, it looks fantastic. Since it is so highly-pigmented, I don't find myself going through it as quickly as I did with other pencil liners. I bought it at the beginning of January, and I am not even halfway through it (it's mid-February now).
I am so in love with this eyeliner that I will continue to cough out $24 bucks for it every couple of months for it.
I was looking for a new pencil liner and was feeling indecisive. It happens, a lot. So I threw a bunch of brands (MAC, Smashbox, Urban Decay, Bobbi Brown, and Lancome) into a bowl (I have a pretty glass bowl for such occasions).
I pulled out Smashbox and then went and bought their Limitless Eye Liner. I liked how the name just rolled off my tongue.
It's not the sharpest point, and the colour didn't seem rich, but I gave it a go.
After 16 hours. I desperately need sleep.
It glides on and stays put.
Like it.
I was originally shopping for Benefit's BADgal liner but unfortunately the store I was at did not have it in stock. The sales associate recommended this Smashbox eyeliner and raved that it had great staying power. It has pretty good staying power but my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On eyeliner stays on longer. I bought this in the color Onyx. What's great about this product though is that it has a built-in sharpener which is convenient. I don't regret buying this but there are better eyeliners out there.
