There's others out there for less money that work better. I have red toned skin and I don't feel this helps. Goes on too thin. I even tried going thicker on skin and I still feels it doesn't change much.
I tried smashbox primer and was not pleased with the results. I found the product very greasy feeling, made my skin very shiny and oily. I have combination skin and my makeup sometimes shows in area's with dry skin, and the smashbox primer did not help with that. So no I would not recommend spending money on the smashbox primer.
Doesnt seem to be a good primer for smoothness. Not sure if i would spend thr money again. I think i will find something less expensive and more effective.
If you're looking for a colour corrector unfortunately this isn't the right primer for that. (I have the green one to correct redness.) Other than that it's pretty decent as a regular primer. It goes on and feels smooth.
I use it when I run low on my everyday primer.
The smashbox photo finish color correcting primer doesn't really correct the color on my face.
I love the original primer from smashbox and I assumed this one would be similar.
I found the texture, of the color correcting primer, wasn't as silky smooth and would roll into
balls on my face. It didn't mask the redness enough for me to justify purchasing this green
tube again. I still had to rely on my foundation to do the color correcting.
This primer fills in the pores and is very lightweight. That being said, I bought the green primer to cancel out the redness on my face and unfortunately it does not do that.
I bought this to try and reduce the redness around my nose. It didn't however improve the redness and I was very disappointed.
I had high hopes for this but was disappointed. I have a lot of redness to my skin. I saw absolutely no difference to the correction of my colour. It looked the exact same with or without it. I did find it would cling my my dry areas, or areas that didn't feel dry or patchy until I put it on. So my foundation looked really dry and patchy. It still caused it to seperate throughout the day. I'd rather save my money and use a cheaper alternative that does better.
Photo Finish Primer is what is should be called. It is green in the tube, however when used on your skin, it does not cancel out the redness as much as I would have hoped. it does however make a silky smooth base for makeup, so I would use it as just a primer. The green colour I can do without, or to make the pigment stronger. I like the sze of the package, small enough so it doesn't overwhelm your makeup bag.
