I first received this primer in a sample size from ipsy and I quickly fell in love with it. I love how it dries as a powder finish and it holds my make up on beautifully. I was surprised with how little I needed to use, and how long the tiny sample lasted me, so I knew it would be a good investment to spend the money to get a full size. I have had the full size for 6+ months and its still going strong. I have since purchased the smashbox pore minimizing primer, I didn't know if I could possibly like it better than this but I definitely do. Smashbox continues to impress!

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is a game changer. It works miracles to perfect your skin filling in lines, smoothing out the look of pores, evening tone, it's like airbrushing your face without the airbrush!
It feels light as a feather on and ca be worn alone or with foundation. When I first started using this product it was because I hated foundation and the primer gave me just the right amount of coverage to perfect those trouble spots, it kept my shine at bay and made my skin look fantastic. Now I use the photo finish primer under my foundation because I'm getting older and I have more problem areas that need a bit of extra coverage. The photo finish primer helps my foundation glide on flawlessly and look smooth and clean all day. I haven't experienced any of the cakey foundation downfalls while using this magical product with it. This is definitely the unicorn of my cosmetics collection.

It really makes a difference.it fills in fine lines, minimizes pores, evens skin tone. My foundation glides on smoothly. There is almost no fragrance, I like the tube, they use to have in a pump which left a lot of waste. I definitely got hooked on this a few years ago and can't be without it.

This was one of the best primers I have ever used! It goes on soft and does the job! I have oily skin and this has been the best primer to date that I can find!

One downfall, for everything that is good in life- comes with a price! This is a bit on the "expensive" side in today's economy, but the way it works makes up for the price!!

Beautiful texture, glides on skin, fills in pores, and allows makeup to not stray. I have oily skin, I feel it really helps my foundation to stay on, without becoming patchy. After using it for over a year, I can't live without this product now.

I have been using this primer for about 2 years now. I love how it helps blend my foundation or powder, and makes my other products last longer because of it. I have sensitive skins and I have never had any problems. I also like that it doesn't make my skin oily.

I have been buying this for at least 5 years' I still have a bottle with the pump, and yay for making the tube, the pump always got stuck or would clog. Can be worn alone or under makeup. I have large pores, this really helps to mattify and make them less visible. It gives your face a glass type finish. I can't start my makeup regimen without this.

The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer is something that I am constantly hearing people rave about. I got a sample recently so I gave it a shot and I honestly wasn’t all that blown away. It applies really nicely and makes my skin very smooth but I also noticed that my face felt a little sticky after I applied my foundation until I dusted on a setting powder. It also made my makeup all kind of slip around on my face which made applying eye brow wax a total nightmare. It’s supposed to fill in pores and fine lines but I didn’t find it helped the appearance of my pores at all. My makeup seemed to settle strangely, about 2 hours after application my contour looked patchy so I had to work it around with a brush a little. On the plus side, it did appear to keep my skin from getting too oily and left my skin looking smooth.

I didn’t use this for an extended period of time because I only had a sample, so I think that I would maybe spend the 20 dollars on a travel sized of this primer to try it again but I don’t think I would go ahead and spend the money on this particular Smashbox primer in a full sized tube. $44.00 CA at Sephora for 1 fl. oz.

Love this primer! you can use it alone, or under makeup. It has so many different nutrients that make your skin feel supple and hydrated. It also provides a really nice radiant glow, making your skin appear brighter and healthier. Although it is a little on the pricey side, it is a great product.

I bought Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer, this is the only primer you will ever need in your life! It gives your face a soft velvet finish. It's so nice and light and keeps your makeup in place.
