This is a great primer for those who are looking for something to smooth out their skin before foundation application. Don't expect any amazing pore filling magic because this is just a silicone based primer. Sensitive skin people be very careful because this product did make me break out where I applied it. Otherwise it's great overall

Great primer, goes on smooth and blurs out most imperfection. A little on the oily side, but once foundation is applied this is no longer an issue. Not the most hydrating primer that I've had the opportunity to try but the final results are nice!

I received a sample of the smashbox photo finish primer . I have red , acne prone skin with scarring so I was hoping it would help. I put a little in my hands and applied it to my face . It didn't have a smell and it went on smoothly. It filled out the acne scars on my skin and it allowed my Makeup to go on seamlessly. I definitely noticed a difference with my makeup application while using this primer . It works very well .

I had some samples of this product and I really like it. My makeup lasted the day. It didn't cake or flake. It's light and a little goes a long way. It's a little pricey but compared to others it's a decent price for the effectiveness

Received a small sample of this product and I LOVE it. Goes on easily and clean and no strong scent or oily feeling. Really helps to keep my makeup in place all day. It's a pretty pricey product but I still see myself picking it up as I know it works so well on my skin.

An absolute classic. This primer gives you smooth skin and does an incredible job of smoothing out deep pores and lines, while also minimizing bumps due to stuff like pimples. It makes all makeup application a piece of cake. It hold everything in place, keeps makeup lasting WAY longer, and gives the appearance of flawless skin underneath the makeup. It is oil-free, therefore it treats skin very well and does not further clog pores to any terrible amounts (makeup is bound to do bad to your skin in some way or another), but this products minimizes this so much. This primer is so loved and popular for very obvious reasons.
I believe the only problem is the price point. It does last quite a while, but daily makeup application can run a $50 dollar bottle down in no time. Finding primer this high-quality is very difficult though and I will continue loving this product regardless of price.

I hate the price. It is very expensive. But, it is a wonderful product and it does its job - no shine, easy to apply other makeup on top and does not irritate my skin. I love how smooth my skin looks and feels when I use this primer below my makeup.

I received a sample size of this primer online about 2 weeks ago and have been using it every day since! I've always wanted to try it - and I am as impressed as I hoped I would be. It feels good on my skin, it keeps my makeup on ALL DAY (even low end drugstore foundation), and there is quite a lot in the sample size. Like I said, I've used it everyday for two weeks and there is a lot left. You only need a little bit!
It is pretty expensive, upwards of $57, but if it lasts a long time - it's would be worth it.

Great primer. I do use this both alone and under makeup. I find that this primer effectively blurs my pores and creates and even base for my makeup application. It is easily applied and absorbs quite fast. I do think that this primer may not be suitable for oily skin, as it can add to the oil. At times, my skin feels dry and this primer does not cling onto the dry patches. You do not have to apply too much as a little does go a long way.

I received a free sample of this in the mail and loved it! It glides on my skin and a little goes a long way. I find my pores are minimized and my foundation stays on longer too.
