Nice finish!!

I love this primer. During the work week I apply this on it’s own after moisturizer. It transforms my skin to look flawless and takes away any shine. I have never been inclined to do lots of make up to go to work, so this is perfect, I find it lasts all day and gives the illusion of younger, fresher looking skin 😀

Works great with certain moisturizers

This smashbox primer has a gel like clear texture to it that melts right into the skin. I've noticed I cannot use this with certain face moisturizers I am accustomed to using. You need to make sure your face has completely absorbed the moisturizer before you get to putting this primer on. I have also noticed this can cling to dry patches and takes extra effort to blend it seamlessly.
Aside from that, this primer preforms super well with basically any foundation. It makes your foundation last all day and controls any oil.
This is a higher priced, about $50CAN and it definitely belongs at Sephora.
Because of my issues with the blending I wouldn't repurchase because of this high priced point.
I would still highly recommend, especially if you have SUPER oily skin.

Best Smashbox Primer

This primer (purple - pore minimizing) is the only primer in Smashbox’s lineup that doesn’t have a silicone (to my knowledge), which is why I purchased it.

I love this primer because not only does it fill in any pores and fine lines, but the purple brightens your tone as well. Really great if you have sallow looking skin. I also find my makeup stays on longer and because this doesn’t have silicone it doesn’t cause a breakout or feel slippery mid day.

I love this primer!! I use it almost every day, its my go to primer. It does everything I want. It makes my pores look smaller, it keeps the shine down on my face but doesn't dry or matte me out too much, it makes my makeup look so much better and last way longer. The only thing I am not a fan of is the price tag, its expensive, but you barely need any and even the small size one you can really make last a long time. I will be repurchasing and I recommend giving this one a try. Usually primers break me out but smashbox primers don't. Love it!

this product is very pore minimizing and oil free, it didnt make my skinnbreak out or dry out. a little went a very long way. i would recommend for sure

This primer s absolutely amazing. It helps to set my foundation, and leaves my skin smooth afterwords. I would definitely recommend. They come in many different formulas also, so you can get a primer for almost every skin type.

my friend recommended me to try this and it works quite well for me. it helps to settle my makeup and I don't need to reapply that often. the only thing is the price is a bit expensive compared to other brands.

I like this primer, it has an easy application and my face looks radiant and smooth. For my skin type (normal) has a duration of approximately 5 to 6 hours.

I tried first the product in a sample and i didnt know what to expect.. and WOW! Its lovely! I like the texture and how it feels on my skins.. just perfect if you dont want to put too much make up on!!
