I bought this product recently and I absolutely love it! The product is great to use as a primer and to freshen up during the day! I have added this to my everyday routine!

Stick with a moisturizing primer if you have dry skin

I liked that the product applied easily with no major buildup between products but I found the product felt tightening. I have very dry and dehydrated skin so I prefer a more moisturizing product. I switched to the photo finish moisturizer and primer combo and haven't looked back. This still works in a pinch but I do not get the hype.

Doesn’t have much of a smell. I have dry dehydrated skin. Tried this on my hand initially and it removed all the creases; looked very flawless. So I bought it. Smoothed my face out just like my hand. Didn’t dry out skin. Doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on skin

hydrating and a good base for makeup

I love the Photo FinishPrimer water from Smashbox. This spray on primer not only gives you a good base for make up but hydrates and refreshes the skin too. You just mist onto skin from 8-10 inches away before applying make up. I find it great if your make-up is looking a little matte or dry. It gives you a glow.
They recommend storing it in the fridge if you want it to feel extra refreshing which sounds pretty nice. This one is going to be great in the warmer months and will be great to apply quickly in the morning when I've more than likely been up with the baby in the night!

Primer Water + Setting Spray

This product makes my makeup go on SO smoothly, I can't even tell you! I have noticed my base looking so much fresher and more even finished whenever I wear it. The best part is that it doubles as a setting spray. It marries all of the powder products so well on your face and gives you an extremely radiant finish!

Does it do anything?

I honestly can’t tell if this stuff actually makes a difference. It’s refreshing, has very little smell and doesn’t make a huge noticeable difference to your makeup. It makes me wonder if a spray bottle of water might do the same thing. I received this in a sample pack of things with a few products I do truly love- I would never re purchase it on its own.
