I got this given to me and tried it several times and I am not happy with it. It didn't seem to remove my hair at all and I kept following the instructions and still nothing so I threw it away.

I used to use hair removal creams and then I switched to shaving and thennn I discovered these smooth away pads. If you've got extra time on your hands or are scared of razors or something, go ahead and use these. They do work. I've used them on my cheeks/upper lip and the hair was removed nicely - it did leave my skin a little irritated but the redness goes down after a while. The hair doesn't grow back any thicker. But in the end, I choose shaving instead because it's quicker. The results from using the Smooth Away pads last only a bit longer than shaving but it takes much longer to buff away all the hair so...

This is a hair-buffing pad with superfine crystals which looks odd but it did get rid of my stubble and it was pretty painlessly too.

Honestly, the most wasteful use of money there could be! I made this purchase at Walmart thinking that it was a great idea (praying that it would work). I excitedly got home to try it out, as I hate to admit that sometimes I have the bad habit of being too lazy to shave. After a while of rubbing and rubbing I glanced at the directions thinking I just HAD to be doing something wrong and saw that nope-I was not. The only difference I saw was that my skin was chaffed and the hair was moved a little but it was not removed. I used this product just that once (because the chaffed skin hurt) and since it has been sitting in my bathroom collecting dust. Sometimes I get too lazy to shave and the hair grows kind of eekish but on that event it was mere stubble so maybe I have to get amazonian in order for this thing to work but who knows (or cares?)

This does about as good a job as sand paper, it has the same effect. All it does is sand away your skin, it hardly even removes the hair. It leaves skin feeling raw and irritated. This should be sold at the hardware store instead of beauty stores. Save your skin, your time, and your money and just don't bother.

I guess this is just sandpaper. I really wanted to try this, specifically for my face (upper lip) It did actually remove some hair, but it left my skin very red, with a burning sensation. And the redness lasted several days. Not worth it, I threw it out. Maybe facial skin is way too sensitive for this product. I didn't bother trying it on my legs. I imagine it would be very time-consuming, sandpapering a large area like a leg, even if it did work. I think I'll stick to waxing.

I wanted to try this product for a while but my skepticism always overruled. I found this on sale at my local grocery store for half price and decided to give it a try.

First of all, the instructions say that this only works on dry hair that is less than 1/4". You have to work in circular motion, 3 times clockwise, 3 times counter clockwise, until the hair is removed. I think this works best on leg stubble. It allows you to prolong the time between shaves, but unless you're trying to use your razor for longer, it's probably easier to just shave. If you want to use it anywhere else, such as arms, I suggest you shave your arms first and start using it on the regrowth.

I also tried this on my upperlip, which worked after a lot of vigorous rubbing. Ow. It removed the fine hairs, but the area was a little sore and red for a little while. Probably shouldn't try that again!

Overall, the product does work to an extent. It somewhat removes unwanted hair, but it definitely exfoliates your skin to silky smooth!

The instructions for this item are pretty simple and I thought I followed them perfectly... but all it did was rub my skin raw. If it removed any of my hair, I couldn't tell.

I have thick, coarse hair- so perhaps this was the issue. Either way, it didn't work for me.

My lesson learned- if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is too good to be true. This product was. I wish I hadn't bothered with this one.

I tried it on my legs and was amazed at the results! My legs had the just-waxed feeling without any pain to go with it!! So lucky of me to have bought it on a sale! NOT!!! The next morning I woke up to not only harsh stubble on my legs, but parts of my legs actually looked like it had black burn marks on them!!

It's been over a month and now my legs are starting to get a bit back to normal...

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone

I bought this from the 'As Seen On TV' Store in my local mall. The shopkeeper had said that she used it and it worked well for her. I had seen the ads and it looked promising. However, this product did not work for me. It had patchy results on my legs and I have rather fine leg hair. This was a waste of my money, unfortunately.
