Tastes like Kool aid
My husband tried it for me.. too much sugar for me.. he liked it, but he says it’s expensive and wouldn’t go out of his way to buy it...wonder if the bottle is bpa free..
why change to a plastic bottle?!
I had the opportunity to try the Kiwi Strawberry juice from Snapple for free courtesy of XYStuff. Unfortunately the first that caught my attention was the package. The label highlighted that they now came in a plastic bottle! WHY!?! While everyone is trying to reduce plastic waste, why switch to a plastic bottle and advertise it!?! I wouldn't buy this product just for that reason. There was nothing wrong with the glass bottle! As for the flavour, it tasted similar to other Strawberry kiwi flavoured beverage. It tasted sweet and refreshing. Nothing unpleasant about it. The original flavor I was supposed to test was the pomegranate but it was nowhere to be found. The price was okay, but not in my budget at just under $2. I prefer not to buy single serving drinks. Not sure if I would personally buy it again but for the flavour I would recommend it to people who like this variety.
Decent refresher for on the go
I was sent a voucher to try Snapple's Kiwi Strawberry Juice Drink; I was excited as I loved that flavour and used to drink Snapple regularly when I was younger! I'll have to be honest though, I was a bit disappointed by the taste? I don't know if my palate has just changed or if Snapple modified their recipe but I couldn't really taste any specific flavour to this drink. It was refreshing and quenching but overall just tasted generally fruity and very sweet to me. As a fruity drink, I wouldn't mind drinking it again but as a supposedly Kiwi Strawberry flavoured drink I was a bit let down, especially since it took me several stores to find any Snapple bottles. I remembered them being everywhere before! It was alright but not quite what I was expecting/hoping for.
Sweet and Sugary if that is what you like!
This was my first time trying snapple kiwi strawberry. It says it has natural flavouring but it is just a sugar drink with no real nutritional content. I personally found it too sweet and sugary for me. It also left me feeling thirsty after just a few sips. It is also now in a lighter, plastic bottle but still keeps the shape and style of their old glass ones. I am unsure if the teas are less sweet. If you like sugary drinks then you may enjoy this more than I did. #gotitfree
Its yummy for sure but less sugar would be way better. This product definitely can be a little bit less sweeter. Strawberry and kiwifruit is kost definitely my favourite flavour.
