The Luxe line is presented in in a similar tube to a lipstick with also a similarly shaped bullet. In terms of effectiveness I would say it was alright. Nothing amazing, but at the same time not terrible either. I like the tube shape and the bullet as it made it very easy to apply. I have very very dry lips so I would need to apply this multiple times a day or my lips would start to majorly flake. For the price though, it's great to have in your purse as a backup!

I prefer the 'stick' style over the cube, it's easier to carry and store vs a cube.
The 'silky shea' has a really nice, light berry scent. Although these aren't my favourite lip moisturizers, i will definitely continue to use them.
I probably wouldn't buy these specifically for moisturizing, especially if you're looking for an intense balm, but for me i like to have something on my lips all the time, so these are great for that.

I like the flavour, and I am huge fan of shea.. good moisture, not a greasy or too waxy feel, love the smoothness too. I prefer this stick format to the cube - it seems cleanlier.

These lip balms have TON of ingredients though which is a bit off-putting

This lip balm does everything that is advertises. It applies super smooth on the lips and is very moisturizing; however, the main downfall for me was that it was flavoured. This probably isnt something that bothers everyone; however, flavoured lip balms have a tendency to leave an artificial flavours aftertaste in my mouth that I do not particularly enjoy. I would love this product 100% if they could make it unflavoured.

This balm comes in a beautiful and practical lipstick tube. It has a delicious and sweet scent, not too overpowering, which I really appreciated and will moisturize and hydrated your lips since the first use.

I liked and I will keep using it!

this is a great moisturizer for the lips, it lasts and has a pleasant smell. I like the shape of it, it makes it easy to apply. I would definitely purchase it again

Worked really well! I liked this product because it kept your lips smooth and moisturized, but didnt feel sticky afterwards. The flavor was nice as well, but I preferred the coconut.

My lips felt amazing after just a few days of using the Softlips Shea Luxe Moisturizer. I enjoyed the light scent, had to stop myself from licking it off my lips right away. It was longing wearing and I did not to reapply that often. The only thing I was not a fan of was the applicator. I did not like how the top was tipped and when i was applying the moisturizer, I felt like i was going to break it.

As part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, I got the opportunity to test out the Softlips LUXE moisturizer in Silky Shea.

This balm comes in a standard bullet with a lipstick slanted application end (not a flat end like many balms). The five claimed benefits are: Hydration, Shine, Protection, Smoothness, and Replenishment. I felt as though the product managed all of these benefits to some extent, but that overall, it wouldn't replace my regular lip balms. Let's go through the claims one by one:

Hydration: Softlips LUXE has shea butter to help hydrate your lips, and I did find that upon immediate application, my lips felt more hydrated.

Shine: LUXE does leave a shine on your lips, and is better than many lips balms. That said, it doesn't compare to the shininess of most lip glosses, so unless you're looking for a "natural shiny" look, this probably won't cut it in terms of delivering on shine.

Protection: The product is supposed to create a moisture barrier that protects against dryness. Check. While the barrier doesn't last for a full day, it does last sufficiently to prevent my lips from drying out for at least a few hours. What it doesn't protect against is sun exposure. I wish this had an SPF!

Smoothness: One of my favourite applications of the luxe tube is before matte lipsticks that tend to dry out my lips. While I've been wearing more glosses and lip oils as the weather gets warmer, I can see using this again in the fall. It seems to work just as well as more expensive lip primers and moisturizers to help smooth out the lip.

Replenishment: I'm not entirely sure how to judge this separately from hydration, but I can say that my lips felt soft, full, and replenished when wearing Softlips LUXE.

Overall, I wish this product hit more of these claims out of the park, and I wish the packaging was a little sturdier. That said, I like and will continue to use this product until it runs out.

I LOVE the smell of this lip moisturizer and the great packaging. I gave this one to my brother and I could barely see the moisturizer on his lips which is great especially for men and more specifically when you want something extremely neutral and natural.
