This had a nice smell; it has a light sweet scent. It is travel friendly because of the tubular packaging. Feels light on the lips, kind of like an oil and shea butter mixed. This lip balm can be worn under lipstick. It does not make your lips glossy :) Yay! And it has a slight tingling effect to the lips!

I liked the product but it wasn't great. I still found myself reaching for my usual brand because I found this was not very moisturizing. I wouldn't ever find myself choosing to purchase this product over the many other available that in my opinion work much better.

I love this packaging! (lipstick style) which is a nice change from my usual spherical style lip balm.

The flavour is nice and mild so no issues there.
The issue for me was a lack of moisture. It really did not do much for me. I had to reapply quite often, and that is not something I find that I have to do with my usual lip balm. My lips felt thirsty all day.
I also don't like the fact that there is mineral oil in this product. I find it more of a filler and an unhealthy ingredient and for the SRP of this product ($4.99 + tax), I would expect better (more natural) ingredients.

Unfortunately I will not be purchasing this product.

I received this product as part of a sampling opportunity through chick advisor. I really loved the feeling of the balm, left my lips feeling smooth and soft. However this sensation didn't last very long and I found myself reapplying too often. I also found that the stick or balm felt very flimsy and I was afraid it would snap off if I rolled it up too far past the lip of the tube.

I received this product for free about two weeks ago as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, and wasn't super impressed at first, but by the end of the two weeks I enjoyed it much more. On first use, I liked the flavour (sort-of sweet and minty) and I liked the lipstick-shape, because the pointed bullet-tip gave it a more precise application than round or flat-top balms. I did find, however, that for the first week I ended up with a grainy feel on my lips a few minutes after application - which did, fortunately, go away after the first week. And although the moisture did seem to last longer after application as time went by, I do still have to reapply more often than I would like (and certainly more often than my favourite $8 balm). For the price, however, it is definitely a good lip balm. By the end of the two weeks, I found that I prefer the cube-shaped balm (after a few days I felt that if I twisted this one up slightly too much it would snap), but I would still recommend this one as being one of the better balms available at drug stores.

I received this product free from Chick Advisor. First, I really like this lip chap because I often have reactions to lip chaps and can't use many so I normally use plain Vaseline on my lips. This brand I could actually use with no reaction! Yay.

This product smells great, has a smooth texture and it actually did leave my lips feeling smoother, softer and less dry. This specific one smells good as well. I like the bigger tube, similar to a lipstick tube and less tacky than a regular coloured lip chap tube.

My only complaints are that it was pricier than I expected and also when it's even slightly warm out the lip chap starts to melt and cakes on a lot thicker.

I received this product for free to review thanks to ChickAdvisor. Silky Shea is my least favourite in terms of scent and flavour. Unlike Berry Bliss, Fresh Mint and Creamy Coconut, this is more of a plain and boring lip balm. Put that aside, the packaging is still very beautiful. SoftLips makes the most beautiful lip balms hands down. As mentioned with Creamy Coconut, I much prefer the sticks because they take up less space but you do get less product compared to the cube. Silky Shea glides on very smooth and creamy like all other SoftLips but they do come off very fast and you will need to re-apply quite often.

Out of all the products I received from SoftLips, this is is the one with the most subtle fragrance and flavor. If you're sensitive to scents and just want a simple balm, this is the best bet. I would even recommend it to men, since they won't be put off by the scent or the color of the packaging, it's just a blue tube.
It glides on at an angle just like a lipstick and comes in the classic lipstick type tube, you can twist the product all the way up if needed.

The only drawback is that the formula can make your lips white if you apply too much.

I didn't like the LUXE as much as the CUBE, but the scent was very nice. The product went on smoothly and wasn't too oily on the lips. It's fairly affordable for the product, and it's convenient to slip into a bag to take anywhere.

This lip balm was mediocre. It didn't look too unique. The packaging looks real simple and similar to any other lip balm in the market as wel the blue plastic makes it look even cheaper. I don't really like the size of it as well. I wish it was smaller and more portable. He balm itself is effective... Smells great and great for moisturizing my lips.. Minty feel after.
