I received this from ChickAdvisor free, and I really like it. the container is convenient and easy to use. I really liked the Silky Shea flavour. It left my lips feeling very soft. The consistency is perfect...not too thick or thin and it's not sticky. It glides on really well and I would definitely recommend it.

I have received this free from chickadvisor product review Club. This was my favorite out of the 4 I have received. It smells amazing! I love how think the balm was so I know it would last a long time on my lips. It has a cool feeling just like all softies. Will I buy this aging? Most definitely becasue I am almost out and have to repurchase asap!

I loved the Softlips Luxe balms! First off I found the packaging to be eye catching, I loved the bright base and the fact that you could see the product right through the tube, it even piqued the interest of some of my girlfriends right away when they saw it.

I really liked that this balm was shaped like a tube of lipstick, it made for easy and precise application.

The Silky Shea scent wasn't overpowering, it's smells sweet and I found slightly fruity. It also didn't have much of a taste once it was on my lips, which I liked because I wasn't constantly licking it off my lips meaning it lasted longer until I needed to reapply.

I definitely found that it moisturized my lips and left them feeling soft and smooth. I will definitely be buying Softlips Luxe again in the future!

As part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, I got the opportunity to test out the Softlips LUXE moisturizer in Silky Shea.

This balm comes in a standard bullet with a lipstick slanted application end (not a flat end like many balms). The five claimed benefits are: Hydration, Shine, Protection, Smoothness, and Replenishment. I felt as though the product managed all of these benefits to some extent, but that overall, it wouldn't replace my regular lip balms. Let's go through the claims one by one:

Hydration: Softlips LUXE has shea butter to help hydrate your lips, and I did find that upon immediate application, my lips felt more hydrated.

Shine: LUXE does leave a shine on your lips, and is better than many lips balms. That said, it doesn't compare to the shininess of most lip glosses, so unless you're looking for a "natural shiny" look, this probably won't cut it in terms of delivering on shine.

Protection: The product is supposed to create a moisture barrier that protects against dryness. Check. While the barrier doesn't last for a full day, it does last sufficiently to prevent my lips from drying out for at least a few hours. What it doesn't protect against is sun exposure. I wish this had an SPF!

Smoothness: One of my favourite applications of the luxe tube is before matte lipsticks that tend to dry out my lips. While I've been wearing more glosses and lip oils as the weather gets warmer, I can see using this again in the fall. It seems to work just as well as more expensive lip primers and moisturizers to help smooth out the lip.

Replenishment: I'm not entirely sure how to judge this separately from hydration, but I can say that my lips felt soft, full, and replenished when wearing Softlips LUXE.

Overall, I wish this product hit more of these claims out of the park, and I wish the packaging was a little sturdier. That said, I like and will continue to use this product until it runs out.

When it comes to lip balms, this one is great because it provides deep moisture and really makes my lips soft and smooth. It comes in a very cute and sleek case and has a shea flavour that is rich, but effective.

The Silky Shea was my favourite! It really really moisturizes my lips for a looong time. It tastes great and has a hint of a tingle but not too much where it is uncomfortable. It goes on very smooth. I like that it is clear so you know how much you have left and dont unexpectedly run out. It's a great price and a great size for travelling.

When I received it from chickadviser I said ok a lip balm.. but when I applied it for the first time I was so impressed it hydrate my lips and believe me not even any other brand with price did ever did such a hydration in a few seconds.. and what you can remarks after few hours that your lips are replenished and no more damaged lips and your lips are smooth till the next day yes till the next day apply it once a day and it effect stays tull the next day where I applied my matte lip creams without any crunshes or dried lips.. and even you can use it alone and it ll give you a bit of shine that you ll say I have the most healthy lips and you ll keep it like that for the whole day.. at first there is a bit of tengeling feeling as it repairs the dry spots and then the most kissable lips ever l.. and the smell or taste are the best and refreshing. . Give it a try and you ll understand why I m so amazed with such a product wow

I LOVE the smell of this lip moisturizer and the great packaging. I gave this one to my brother and I could barely see the moisturizer on his lips which is great especially for men and more specifically when you want something extremely neutral and natural.
