This stuff is great! It moisturizes well and the cucumber is my favorite smell. I also love the fact that the container is slim and compact, great for my small purses or the pocket :) And, since I'm into organic and natural products, I was more than excited to use it!

The softlips organic lip balm in cucumber is great for your winter chapped lips. It lasts long and gives your chops a soft and healthy look - hence living up to its name 'soft lips'. I would definately recommend this product to those in need of a moisture lift or even for everyday use to keep your lips soft all year round!

I got the cucumber softlips organic lipbalm and I absolutely adore it. My lips are very chapped and I have a problem with lip balms not effectively moisturing my lips. Plus most lip balms leave a thick film on my lips and it looks and is disgusting. So when I got this one in the mail I fell in love with it right away. The smell is amazing and so fresh! and the best part is it moisturizes perfectly leaving NO FILM!!! It also doesnt have a taste which is even better. the bonus is the fact that it is not tested on animals and 100% organic with no chemicals. I dont know about you but its the perfect package of health, freshness, moisture and nature love.

So as part of the review club I got to test out the cucumber and pomegranate flavours. I loved both!!!
I expected the cucumber one to taste like real veggies, it doesn't, doesn't really taste like anything. Smells amazing though and most importantly smells real. None of that fake stuff other companies make. It's so light that I can't feel that it's on my lips and works like a charm. I have a bad tendency to bite my lips when I stress (which is most of the time) and this has been my life saver for the last week.
It's also quite kissable - my guy hates kissing me when I have anything on my lips, but he didn't even notice this was on!

I'd recommend this to anyone suffering from seriously chapped lips and anyone who loves natural products. The package is the standard softlips tube - slimmer than the average lip balm package so it's tiny enough to shove into even the most overstuffed tiny purse.

I have never really seen the big deal about Softlips, and this product is no exception. While there is much that I like about it, there are a number of things that I dislike.

Firstly, the texture is slightly waxier than the regular Softlips (think a slightly softer texture to Burt’s Bees Lip Balm) due to the organic ingredients I suppose. The texture is not bad, but I prefer my lip balms to be slightly softer than this (however the fact that it is 100% organic is enough to make me endure this fact). I really like the smell – it is reminiscent of Bath and Body Works Cucumber Melon scent which I absolutely adore. The scent is not that apparent when you simply open the lid and sniff it, but when it is on your lips you can smell the scent. My main complaint about this product is the very same thing that makes it somewhat unique – the teeny tiny fits-in-your-pocket size of the lip balm itself is so cute, and I love that it fits in my pocket undetected. However this also poses a problem with application … I don’t want to say that I have big lips, but I suppose they are slightly larger than average, and the tiny nature of this product causes me to have to go around my lips several times before they are covered. Also the lip balm itself leaves a rather thin layer on the lips (which is also a drawback because normally I prefer my lip balms to be thicker). Both of these factors combined made application slightly infuriating for me, because it takes so long to apply it to my satisfaction, and thus I do not think I will purchase this lip balm in the future.

To summarize;

Likes: pleasant yet subtle scent; the fact that the tiny tube fits in your pocket

Dislikes: the slimness causes application to take longer than regular sized lip balms; the product itself is too thin on my lips

I would like to point out that this is NOT A BAD lipbalm I just find it slightly inadequate in some of the areas that are most important to me when selecting a lip balm.

Softlips has recently unveiled their new line of Organic Lip balms. The product comes in a convenient, slim tube, and smells like brown sugar. Although it smells identical to its pomegranate counterpart, Cucumber sets itself apart the moment you apply. Immediately, the scent transforms itself to a very fresh, almost melon-like essence that has me reaching for the product easily twice as often as its sister flavor.
As with Pomegranate, Cucumber goes on smoothly and cleanly, and saves our men for being the lip-balm-wearing girliemen they swear they aren't. Alternatively, Softlips Organic Lip Balm allows me to feel feminine even when not wearing lipstick due to dryness or chapping-- simultaneously re-infusing my pretty pout with moisture.

I received this lip balm from the Prodcut Review club in the nick of time! Was very sick and had super chapped lips and this healed them up within a day! It feels really nice and smooth on, no sticky... doesn't do much for apperance but feels nice... the smell and taste is sutble, but refreshing... i don't really like the skinnyness of the tube tho, you can't just apply one stroke to each lip, kind of have to color them in.. but no big deal really...

I was fortunate enough to test this lip balm through the Product Review Club. I am not a hugh fan of cucumber, so I was a bit reluctant to test this flavor. It is actually quite pleasant. There is a slight-sweet smell of cucumber upon application which fades after a few minutes and there is amazingly no flavor at all. It is 100% natural and contains organic ingredients so you do not have to worry if you have sensitive lips because it does not contain chemicals. Upon the first application I noticed immediate results. My lips became kissably smooth without any stickiness or waxy feel. I suggest you go get a tube and pamper your lips a bit. You deserve it.

It goes on smooth, has no noticeable taste and keeps my lips moisturized for a long time. At the same time, I don't feel the need to reapply over and over again. Props!

I got this cucumber scented one and the pomegranate version. I have to say I like the pomegranate a teeny bit better just because I love the smell. For those of you who aren't big on smell, it goes away within a minute or two and like I said there is no taste. I love the skinny tube - so convenient!

I would give a 100% rating, but I don't know how much it costs. Otherwise, I completely recommend it.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this lip balm. It is super moisturizing, smells AMAZING, and it is organic. All of these are essential to me in making a quality lip balm and softlips has managed to make an awesome product. I would definately reccomend this product to anyone. I live close to Lake Erie in the snowbelt and the winter does a number on my lips. One day of using this product has given me kissable, soft lips. I will definately being buying more.
