It Repels Mosquitoes & Hydrated my Skin

I was really excited to try this product when I discovered it could be used as mosquito repellent. It has a strong cedar wood fragrance that is difficult to ignore but the product applies really well and it repelled mosquitos when I wore it outside. I could feel the bugs outside but I didn’t get bitten and I’m usually the first person to get bitten when mosquitos are around. The product left my skin hydrated and it took a while to absorb but I would definitely continue to use this to repel mosquitos in the evening and when traveling abroad.

Ultimate Hydration

When I first tried the Somerset Moss bath oil I fell in love with the texture on my sun tanned slightly dehydrated skin. It moisturized it right away and left my skin feeling nourished.. but not overly oily! At first application the scent wasn’t as welcoming as I had expected looking at the packaging. Perhaps something floral, bright but instead reminds me of a comforting cup of tea. I wanted to use this multiple times before reviewing as I insist on being honest. The product itself is amazing. I knew this from the start. And the scent… well it’s warmed up to me! It doesn’t leave a lingering scent behind as a body lotion perhaps would. Its purpose is to hydrate. And it does that very well with ingredients I trust.

An indulgent part of morning routine

First off I will say I love the look of this product! The black glass is so chic and looks beautiful on my bathroom counter.
The oil itself absorbs so quickly that it is almost like a dry oil which is my fave body oil! You can get dressed pretty quickly after application without worrying about marking up your clothes. The scent is quite strong but definitely invigorating, I can take away mostly the jasmine notes.
The one downfall is the pump, it sticks quite easily and doesn’t allow to get the product out as easily as I would like.
