We love the PS3, it doesn't cost anything to play online and there are lots of games available for all ages, one of the best features is the Bluray player built-in! Would take this over an Xbox any day.

Don't use it for gaming. Great for watching movies and storing pictures.

I'm one of those crazy gamer people who spends at least 14 hours a week playing video games. So this is one awesome gaming system. It has so many functions and other applications that make it pretty much your all around entertainment machine. It's a Blu-Ray player, you can play video games, watch movies online, use the internet (that's if you have the internet connected to it) upload pictures and video, meet and make friends, customize the layout of your playstation etc. One thing that's great is that you don't have to pay to go online. For an xbox you have to have a subscription which is something I don't want to pay for.

We are gamers and the playstation gets used every day. There is more variety of games for ps3 now which is great, and it's nice that there is no fee for accounts like xbox.

I got this last year for the boys for christmas and really love it. It can be hooked up as blue ray player, interent access for facebook and also netflix ( you will need high speed for that part). You can buy so many neat games for it that are great for family and kids. I also like that fact that you have trail offeres for different games then if you like it you can buy it or not. I have recommend this to family and friends. They do retail for $299 but well worth it.

Bought a ps3 for xmas last year, can't believe how great it really is, at first i thought it was a bit highpriced but its definitely worth the money :) you can watch bluerays, play games online, or even hook up to the internet and watch movies, netflix or get on fb !!! love it!
