Got this laptop about 8 years ago for university. I loved the look of the Vaio designs, sleek and came in very pretty colours (mine was white).

I don't have very good experiences with Windows OS, more of a Mac girl.. I find Windows to slow down very quickly.. surprisingly I tried to turn on the laptop the other day and it actually started up and was running at a decent speed. Not a bad laptop to keep around as a spare.

bought white 15.6" laptop about 5 years ago. Got it with a pretty expansive warranty that should have covered it for 2 years. after 2 months, the motherboard overheated - they said I misused it but I used it just like any other laptop, on a desk at home or school; plus it was winter by then and letting the cold air in when the computer shut off thankfully would revive it. I still took it to be fixed, thank God the warranty covered it!

After a year and a half of using it, I started noticing it slowing down. But was still average speed, and sometimes I find it working better and faster than my roommate's brand new Lenovo!
The only thing about it that really bugs me is all the plastic rimming... it brekas very easily. I used to have a Dell and the outer case for the screen was made of a material that if fallen down wouldn't break as easily.
it still works though and does all I need it to, so props to that!
