Theethin time

We absolutely love sophie.. this teether has been used for 3 of my kids and it's still holding strong ... Even my dog has chewed it some. It's definitely one of the best on the market.

Sophie the giraffe is good quality and a good tether, stylish but is pretty expensive when there are other similar tethers for cheaper. Will next go with the less expensive option

It's an investment

For me this is a teether that I needed to have. It looks so cute and appealing. I took the plunge and purchase it. It's a great teether. It's durable, stylish and very soft. However, I think that there are equally good options for a power price.

Good teether

I love this giraffe as a teether but it really is way too expensive! My two oldest kids loved having one for teething. It is easy for baby to hold on to and I love that food paint is used.

Gets moldy

I understand the concept behind this item, but, it gets moldy in the inside from the child's saliva and that is not healthy to have around the house. I think the whole needs to be plugged up somehow. Also, too expensive for a teething toy.

So soft

I love that Sophie is still hand painted in France. I would not change the price for a lower quality Sophie. She’s such a soft rubber, perfect for teething baby. I love how cute she is too she looks like a vintage baby toy.

A Life Saver!

I'm so glad a received sophie as a baby shower gift. She has been an absolute life saver when it comes to my teething baby. Sophie is my go to toy whenever my baby is getting fussy and it calms him right down and keeps him occupied for a while.

Wouldn't recommend

As much as this product help with my kids teething, I still wouldn't recommend it. My kids saliva would get into the hole and I didn't feel comfortable giving it back to them after. I didn't like that I wasn't able to clean it properly and heard that mold can grow inside of it.

Girrafe

Sophie the Giraffe has been around for a long time. I agree that it does help when a baby is teething, but either through baby drool or cleaning, water gets in the hole. The problem is Sophie gets moldy inside the giraffe from the drool or water and it makes me feel really uncomfortable giving this to my kid. I would not recommend this baby product.

One of our favorite toys!

We received a a Sophie as a gift with our first child and it has been a favorite toy with both the kids! There is a reason that this one is a classic toy.
