A staple gift for every newborn

both of my children loved their Sophie the giraffes. She really is nice for teething babies to chew on and hold themselves. not to mention she is super easy to clean.

Well loved but pricey

While it’s a good investment - quality is great, great tether, my baby loved it - I still think it’s too expensive. I think if it were under $20 I’d be more likely to buy it again or buy it as a gift. I also agree with other reviewers that I don’t like that moisture can get in the squeak toy hole and create mold.

Great little toy, super cute design

We bought this for my son 3 years ago when he was born, and it is still in his bed as one of his friends he sleeps with. He didn’t really chew on it, but he always banged it around and threw it everywhere, and it held up perfectly. I read in the packaging that each one is hand painted so no two are alike- that’s pretty cool. Now all this said, our package said it was made in France. We recently bought the deer for our younger son, and it said that one is made in china. I almost returned it because of this, but I didn’t. So we’ll see how that one holds up.

Sophie was a hit!

Sophie was my daughter’s favorite teether. She absolutely loved it. She had to have it everywhere we went. She lost it in a store once and we both panicked, she cried until I finally found it. I now buy one for everyone I know who’s expecting. The best!

Totally worth the price tag

Was skeptical at first. Seemed expensive for a teething toy but my baby LOVED it. So have both of nephews. One of my favorite new baby gifts. Holds up well to lots of “love.”

It's not that great

We got this as a gift at our baby shower for our little man. Everyone ravs about how great it is but there are better, cleaner and cheaper teethers out there. He loved it at first but I don't like that you can only wipe it down, and if you get the cloth too wet, water can go inside the squeaker hole. Which happened to us, I don't want him to have something in his mouth that potentially has black mold inside from trapped moisture. Would be better with a bell instead of the hole for the squeakee.

Expensive teether

We received Sophie as a baby gift. Baby girl loves it, but there are more cost effective teethers on the market. I wouldn't purchase it for myself but I am happy we got one as a gift.

Only one it interested was the dog

Sophie was on every must buy list we saw when creating a registry, so naturally we added her to ours. Both of my children never played with her. Seemed like a nice item, but zero interest. The squeaky nose it made though certainly got our dog’s attention. He would come running every time we tried to get either child to play with Sophie.

Sophie is a staple

Sophie was a staple in our home. Her matching book was the first we read to our baby girl. I can still hear it and see her kissing her while we read. Sophie is a must for every mama. So sweet and the perfect size too.

Great teether

My son loved this teether. It is very soft and easy for little hands to grab. I liked that it is large so that he could chew on different parts. It does have a pretty loud squeaker.
