Adorable squeaky toy.
I received this as a shower gift for our daughter. I am glad I didn’t have to pay for it though cause it is expensive. My daughter never used it to chew on as a teether but more so played with it only when she was past the teething stage. I appreciate that it is made of natural rubber and has held up well for 4 years of play time and our daughter still asks for Sophie if she goes missing.
Expensive
Helloooo everyone, I heard a lot about this Sophie how much babies love her and how much she can help with teething so I got it but I think it’s too expensive and it doesn’t work that much also it gets dirty very quick

My daughter recently started to show interest in this toy although we’ve had it since she was born. She is easily distracted from diaper changes by its squeak and loves to put all parts of it in her mouth. Irl find it easy to wipe and clean. I do feel it is overpriced for what it does but received it as a gift and was very happy when I did. Feels like one of those “staple” baby must haves.
Great toy but a choking hazard
I was given this toy when my first child was born and I was so excited to have it. But one day my son was playing with it (6 months-ish) and he got one of the legs wedged down into his throat. I had to pull it out while he was choking and it had blood on the end of the leg. We ended up having to go to the hospital and I threw the toy away. I did not want another one when my second child was born.
Nice teether.
My mother bought one of these for my son and he used to love it when he was teething.
The squeaky sound keeps babies interested.
I'd definitely recommend this .
Expensive
I think the brand name is what gets the high price point for this. Yeah it’s cute and squishy but there’s cheaper ones that do the same thing. My babies didn’t love it but chewed on the feet sometimes. I got it as a gift and definitely wouldn’t spend that much myself.
I also hate the squeaking. Sounds like a dog toy.
This didn't work for us.
My boy is a terrible teether. He gets angry and super fussy when he's teething badly. I had read all of the great reviews and was excited to get this for him. Unfortunately, he never really liked it that much. He would chew on it a bit, but he has a stuffed animal lovie, and that animals ears are apparently his preferred teething toy. It's great if your kid likes it, but expensive if they don't. Also, our dogs were very confused at first because to them, it was a dog toy that they couldn't have. I guess I should go find it and give it to the dogs now that my boy is almost 2.
It's okay
I bought this for my baby and he likes it but I feel is to pricey for what it does I expect it better but doesn't really like like it helps with teething I feel like it's only more like a toy for them to play with I think I well think twice first if I wanted to buy it again
Grandchildren loved it
My grandchildren (twins) both loved their giraffe. It was a great teething toy. My granddaughter seemed to use it more and treated it like a toy as well.
I don’t understand the hype!
This is an expensive rubber chew toy! we got ours for our daughter, and she pretty much never cared for it. She preferred the soft Sophie that came in the gift set with it, and had a little bell. We then passed it on to my son, who is teething now, and could take it or leave it. He will chew the legs a little bit, when we give it to him, but he is otherwise as indifferent as his sister was. Also, it feels like the thing always looks dirty to me, no matter how often I wipe it down! I’m giving it points for being easy for little hands to hold and little mouths to chew- but it really isn’t a necessary object for a new baby- you’ll have just as much luck with any other rubber chewer for half the price!
