One of our favorites

Popular for a reason, my baby loves it. Wish I had it for our first. Easy to grasp and wipe clean if needed. Soft on baby's gums and cute design. Wish there were other animals too.

Cute Toy

SOPHIE THE GIRAFFE the toy is too cute and brings a smile to the face of my grandbaby and myself as well. I added this to her small toy animal collection and it fits in so great with the rest of her animals. She loves them all but SOPHIE THE GIRAFFE is her first choice she goes to to play with. My grandchildren are all into all animals and have even asked if we could get us our own SOPHIE THE GIRAFFE. I laughed and said I sure don't think so but maybe we can find a few smaller ones so she can have more friends. This is just a all around great little toy and small enough to take along in the car.

I really wanted to love this!

I really wanted to love this. It was the "hot" gift of the year for my first 2 children's births, so I was gifted 3 of them in between the kids. The problem is, none of them enjoyed it. I would constantly try to give it to them, but they much preferred nubby toys or toys that could be frozen. Eventually I gave up - my dogs tore 2 of them and one was lost in the depths of my car. Its worth a try to see if it works for your kid, but it didn't for my family.

Loved it, but I'm not a huge fan of toys with holes for mold

my little guy loved sofie the giraffe while teething. Its a squeaker that isn't irritating and its pleasant to look at. Mynonly downside to this toy is the hole it has in order for the squeeze and squeak to work. Im not a fan of any toys with holes because they are a breeding place for mold.

Mold

I bought one of these for my teething baby because it was so adorable and it seemed everyone I knew had one and loved it! It was the most expensive teething toy I’ve ever seen but I just thought that meant excellent quality.

I was wrong.
One week after purchasing, there was mold all up in it. I found it while I washed with dish soap (see my review for Blue Dawn! ;)) and little mold flakes suddenly appeared. I cut it open and was absolutely disgusted in what I saw. ONE WEEK after buying this toy. I’ll stick with the solid-piece teethers from now on.

You want the small solid one, not the big squeeky one.

The original sophie is the way to go it is a solid small giraffe with 2 handles. Its solid silicone and is microwave and dishwasher safe. We did not like the big squeeky toy sophie. My son was a bad teether , but that was the only teether that helped him at all.

Best teether

I am not sure what magic they put into this toy, but our son loved it. The smell is wonderful. He loved the texture and we were sure to take it wherever we went.

Sophie was a household favorite.

Sophie was used, by far, the most often - when our toddler was younger. Same with our older child. We brought Soph everywhere. We bought them for baby gifts and adore all the Sophie books, still, to this day. Such a sweet, little giraffe and was really good at getting those hard to reach places for a teething babe.
It was super easy to clean and much, much loved on.

Got sticky with cleaning

This was my daughters favorite toy as an infant, unfortunately it became sticky and only got worse each time I cleaned it. The ability to clean a toy that will be going in a babies mouth is extremely important.

Perfect for teething babies

I received Sophie for my daughter as a gift and we used it so much for her that when my son was born he knew we had to get him one. Sophie is perfect for teething babies and they love that it squeaks.
