Made for Canadian winters!
These are my go to winter boots once it snows! They keep my feet so warm and dry. They can be difficult to get on and off unless I loosen the entire boot, and they are a bulkier boot, but they are super cute with the fur trim. I love them.
The grip isn't the best but they're super warm
I generally love these boots because they look great and are very warm. They are waterproof too which is perfect for slushy days. My only complaint is that they don't have a lot of grip so I still find myself slipping and sliding on icy days.
Disappointing
I didn;t have mine long before the back ankle area started to really wear down. Now I am unable to wear them because it is so painful when my skin rubs of agains the hard plasic material. It isnt even like I don't untie them when I take them off or dont take care of them. They are in perfect condition and I'm sad to have spent so much for them to let me down.
Total RIp Off!
I was so disappointed with these boots. These were my 2nd pair of Sorels and the first pair were the Glacy Explorer Boots and they were great and lasted 2 seasons. Last year I bought these (Joan of Arch) and they lasted less than 3 months before the plastic at the back where the "Sorel" badge is cracked and now they leak and are useless. I spent over $200 for these boots so I would say they are a total rip off given they didn't even last half a season. I tried to return them to Sorel but I would have to pay to ship them back. In my opinion, I already spent to much on crappy boots so I wasn't about to spend even more. Very disappointing and I won't buy this brand again.
Winter boots
When it comes to winter time in Ontario Canada keeping warm is a must. I always start with a warm pair of boots and Sorel boots definitely are the warmest I have had. They don't necessarily look like the coolest boots out there. But as long as I am warm and dry thats all I care about for me and my family.
I got these boots last winter and they are defined the warmest and most durable boots I have had. I love the look of them as well. Would definitely recommend them to others.
I fell in love with these boots last year 2015. Sorel has soooo many designs but they are distinct in the way that you know it is a Sorel boot when you see it.
They have a solid, super strong, water proof sole, and made of 100% leather/suede. They are made in Canada which is a huge seller for me. I like supporting us Canadians. I also love the traditional fur hem at the top of the boot.
The Joan of Arctic feature I like is the overlay over the bottom by the laces. It is also a "classic"" women's boot for Sorel. They also have a dress boot in the Joan of Arctic collection. Check out www.sorelfootwear.ca and you will be amazed at all the designs and all the details of the ambition and dedication that goes into making their products
Les bottes sont belles pour la vie de tout les jours. Elle sont chaudes pour l'hiver du québec. Facile à porter ,elle sont de bonne qualité. Je les trouve très belle.
don't really care for anything sorel ordered this from the sears winter catalogue and they just looked terrible with every outfit, only ever wore them a couple times before selling them to someone else
I love love love these boots! I remember going to pick out a pair of Sorels every winter when I was younger... then I gave them up because for a few years to was SO NOT COOL to wear boots haha. A few years ago I got another pair and I'm sooo glad I did. Super cute and amazingly warm winter boots!
