Big Sorry Small Excitement

I was sent this from @familyrated to try and review. First off thank you, my family was very excited to receive this game as we were thinking it would be a great gane to take outside or camping. The vinyl game board is a bit thin and upon opening it, it was damaged. The pieces are a tad challenging to get together and the turn taker/spin piece is English only on both sides. Overall the kids are happy to play this game. I would be curious to see how much this game is in-store as I wouldn't be willing to pay much for it. The pieces don't fit back in the box unless you take them all apart again, if the box had been 2 inches taller they would have all fit nicely.

TESTED BY THE WHOLE FAMILY

I've never played the original version of this game before so I couldn't quite compare it but as a first time player, I really enjoyed the game. The box arrived and was fairly large in size compared to your typical "boardgame"; almost twice the size. The box was very colourful and had a window cutout that displayed the actual size of the "giant" game piece. I would say its about the size of a large adult hand. You had to put together the game pieces by fitting two halves together. The mat was larger than my living room rug and feels likes a thick shower curtain. The instructions were clear and the game was fairly easy to understand and play together as a family. We really enjoyed moving the large game pieces around the mat. The pros- the mat is fairly durable and can easily we wiped down if it got dirty, its almost impossible to lose the large game pieces, its portable that you can play indoors or outdoors, the game is easy enough for a young child to understand. If I had to make some improvements, I would suggest the game pieces needs to be constructed a bit better as a few of our games pieces when snapped together would would leave a large gap or would break apart mid game. Perhaps it should include some sort of clear elastic or band to hold the game piece together. I would also suggest that the instructions be printed on a cardboard instead of on a pamphlet as by the first game, the instructions were all wrinkled. I can't wait to bring the game to other people's homes to show and play.

Brings back childhood memories

I received the Sorry Giant Edition Game #freeproduct and had an amazing time playing it! the game brought back many childhood memories. I loved that now I can recreate those memories with my family. It's perfect to set up outside and was very easy to use, the pin's ( game pieces ) were a little hard to put together but it wasn't a big deal, the floor mat is a very large vinyl piece. We set ours up inside due to the weather but plan to take it with us to the beach and enjoy this wonderful game for years to come.

super sized fun!

It has been a LONG time since I played Sorry and forgot how fun it was! We took this new giant edition camping with us. It was a nice change from the usual table top games we play, but there is room for improvement.

Firstly, the box says indoor/outdoor play, but if it's the least bit windy there is nothing provided to weigh the mat down, some pegs or weights would've been nice, or weigh down the pawns.

Second, a carrying bag or case would be ideal as well. The pawns come unassembled, once you assemble them they will not all fit back in the box, which means you either take them apart each time (risk of breakage), or you find something else to store them in.

Bottom line, it's a fun change from the traditional table top style, but I think I prefer table top.

Family game

Enjoyed this game with my 6 year old, my husband and my mom. Such a great way of spending some quality time with the family and perfect for bad weather days. Easy to follow for the kids too.

Family fun

Played the game right away with my 6 year old daughter and her friend. We played outdoors while on a picnic. Kids enjoyed the game and it was quick enough they didn't lose interest. They enjoyed the large playing pieces.

This game is fantastic for hours of family fun. Game pieces are the perfect size for little hands. This game is fun for all ages. Perfect to play at home indoors or outdoors. Perfect for taking to the trailer to keep the kids busy all while having family game day/night.

Great Outdoor fun

Nice large pieces make it fun, simple instructions for young ones to follow. Easy to store as it’s a reasonable sized box. Great new spin on a classic childhood favourite of mine
