Spasilk Hair Beauty Satin Pillowcase

They do state that it's polyester (I.E. Satin, not silk) in the listing, so I can't really complain about that. Take note that if you're looking for a SILK pillow, this ain't it. Some say that silk has special benefits, but if you're looking only for a pillow to calm frizz, beauty experts say that satin is fine at this, cheaper than silk and didn't involve any worm deaths (if that bothers you.)

However, I bought this to replace my old silk/satin pillow and I have no idea if the only one was some other type of satin, or maybe real silk, because it was far more comfortable. While this is starting to settle into softer shapes now, after several washes, you can still see the fold lines from the packaging in it. It feels really plasticky and stiff for the first few washes and even now still doesn't feel super comfortable.

I'm not really happy with it, but couldn't tell you why, it's almost like...too firm. Another issue I have is that it's huge! They do write the measurements there and I'd advise measuring your pillows. I had assumed Queen was a normal fit for queen pillows, but this floats on my pillows and is always getting moved around uncomfortably because of it.

It looks and feels cheap, you get what you pay for and I'll definitely price up a little next time.
