I cannot figure out what the hype is about this product. I tried it and it is not an effective cleanser. It left my face dirty and I kept getting black heads and blocked pores when I usually have clear skin. Not much of a cleanser!

This is great to clean your face with. i used it every morning for a long time and it worked well for me. it gently cleans your face removing oil and dirt. leaving your face clean and refreshed ready to start your day of right.

I went from using this as a teenager to other well-marketed items, Proactive for awhile, and now back to basics with this face wash. I have sensitive skin and this works great as a basic cleanser. I use un-scented which is great, and its just very soft and easy and cooling on my skin. I'm have a bit of residual adult acne and find this is the sensitive cleanser I need.

Thus is a great cleanser for sensitive skin, it is so gentle and doesn't dry out your face. The smell is something you have to get past because this stuff really works!

This product does not feel like a cleanser. I feel like it doesn't clean my skin properly, I wouldn't depend on it to remove any makeup and dirt from my face. However, the texture makes it quite refreshing and I would recommend using it for a light cleanse. As far as acne goes, this product has not helped me much.

Ance suffers! Here's a trick...put it on the spot you already have or if you feel one coming on. Massage it in and keep it on for 10 minutes - better yet, sleep with it on as a spot treatment. Follow it up with a lil bit of polysporin CREAM, NOT OINTMENT (THE BLUE TUBE) for a couple of days and voila, no pimple....(babysit that zit!)

My advice....
Use it a few times a week, massage into skin for at least a minute....I've been using spectro gel since I was a teenager!!!

I have acne prone skin, but my skin is delicate and sensitive. My skin is also super oily. It's a funny combination. Anyways, I had to cut out harsh chemicals out of my facial routine so I started using Spectro Jel as it is soft and gentle on the skin. This cleans my skin but doesn't strip it so my skin doesn't feel tight and dry, and doesn't look flaky.

Spectro Jel Cleanser was recommended to me by my doctor as a safe product for sensitive combination skin. I use it all over my body at least once a week, inbetween my scented body washes and it keeps me feeling fresh and clean.

I'm not a big fan of the scent...but it's a gentle cleanser that works well on my dry and eczema prone skin. There's not a lot of cleansers that I can use regularly, but this is one of them.

It's a good product, I still use it even though I'm in my 20's now, I still get acne, it sort of works, it used to work better than it does now, for serious acne I wouldn't suggest it though.
