I love Spectrum Naturals products and always have there coconut oil in my home it has so many uses.It can be a little pricey but it is worth it.It is a good alternative to butter or shortening and perfect for a vegan diet.Coconut oil has been shown to have antiviral and antimicrobial properties, which support immune function. Coconut oil is also used medicinally for candida and yeast infections.I use it in baking,frying,cooking basically in place of butter or margarine.It is also well know that coconut oil has been used for centuries as a body care product that nourishes, moisturizes and protects skin and hair.I use it like a hair mask and rinse and also on damp hair rub a little on my palms and mainly onto the dry ends of my hair it really softens and protects my hair.It also really softens dry skin perfect in the summer months.It has a subtle coconut taste and smells lovely.

I absolutely love love love coconut oil! It has so many health benefits and your body doesn't store it as fat, but it actually directly transfers to energy!! It is amazing for your skin and hair and excellent as a high heat cooking oil (french toast tastes amazing with this stuff!!) I eat about 3 TBSP of it a day and have noticed health benefits and increased energy! I would recommend everyone to incorporate an organic coconut oil into their daily diet and regimen!
