I had been contemplating purchasing one of these diffusers for some time but happily I received one as a gift instead. The oil simply diffuses through the wood top of the container and so the smell that is released is not overpowering or too strong. I have tried the sense and spray and the plug ins and have always found that the smell gets to be too much and they are done too quickly. With the Spill Proof Woodwick Diffuser, I am finding that it is more of an all around the house scent that you can notice and since it is simply emitting through the wood stopper it is not being used up too fast and the wood stopper is great in the instance it is knocked over it won't spill. Glad I finally got one and will be buying some for when the current one is finished.
