Trying another Atlantic Canadian brewery's fruit flavoured beer. This one boasts a blueberry and chai tea flavour in a pilsner beer. In my first mouthful I got a strong chai/spicy punch but it seemed to disappear as I continued drinking this beverage. It tastes to me as a medium-dark beer with a pleasing aroma and flavour but not one that is overly blueberry or tea-like. The chai spice flavour quickly just because an after taste which I'm not sure if I care for though I prefer the chai spice on the subtler side as I usually find it too strong (e.g. in a traditional chai tea). I am a bit disappointed though that the black tea flavour isn't more pronounced. I generally think of fruity beers as a summery version of beer but in this case with the chai spices it has more of wintery feel to it.
