I had a really bad experience with this hair color, but in the end it did exactly what it was meant to do. I had platinum blonde hair and had been putting light purple chunks in my hair but wanted something that would last longer than what I had been using, I saw the splat at the grocery store and thought "why not". It come with a bleach kit and a colour, instructions and gloves. The instructions were easy to understand, I used the bleach first, than used the Berry blast colour. The results were amazing, beautiful light purple, very intense, but it took nearly half an hour to rinse the colour after dying it and my hair was quite dry. I really enjoyed the colour, it took about 4 weeks to finally start fading, but it turned this really bright neon pink. Here is where my bad experience comes in. It took me 3 rounds of bleaching to even attempt to fade the colour after 8 weeks of wearing it, and destroyed my hair in the process and eventually dyed my platinum and pink striped hair it brown just to cover the colour up. It definitely has staying power.

One of my favorite hair dyes! It comes with a bleach that works wonders in my hair without a huge dry out. It comes in a ton of colors and for 16.00 with tax u get color and bleach. Left over color can be saved and stored for later use

This has got to be my favorite colour of splat. This pink is very vibrant. If you want pink in your hair go for this colour. It even glows under black light! This kit comes with the bleach an excellent buy! I have been using this brand for about a year now and I am in love with just about every colour!

I have been using splat for about a year now. At the moment I have used the luscious raspberry colour. The bleach comes in this kit along with the colour which is great for my roots and getting the last bits of the last colour I used. This time I opted to change the colour and make it a little brighter so I added just a bit of the pink fetish. My hair colour looks amazing! For $12-$15 its a great buy!

I love splat hair colour and my best friend who is a hair dresser does to! It's the only kit with bleach that does a good job bleaching my hair and my hair dresser says honestly it's better then her salon bleach and I love that you get the bleach and a colour all for the price of one! The bright colours work great and look awesome and if you know how to take care of brightly coloured hair it last for a good amount of time as well! Great selection of f pretty colours I'd recommend it to everyone!

I have almost bum length hair and there was enough purple to do it all. I can't speak on the bleach part as I bought a seperate bleach kit to make sure I had enough. Love the bright purple and a week and half later it still looks great. I suggest getting someone to help you so it gets coated evenly and makes less mess. Will deff. use this again

I have been using this product for a year and a half now. I have naturally black hair so I was skeptical about the bleach working or the color taking to my hair. I was amazed when the bleach turned my hair beautiful shades of blonde and then the pink took right to my hair. I chose to leave the pink on my hair for 3 hours just to be sure that it saturated my hair. By doing this I have found that I only have to dye my hair every 4-6 months. I love this product and will continue to use it as long as I am dying my hair fun colors.

I've used splat a few times and it's generally too runny. This formula was a little runny but not as runny as some I've received in the past. The name makes it sound like a purple red colour when in fact it's the brightest of reds you could imagine. This kit is pretty affordable and it comes with the bleach kit making it a great deal. The bleach lightened my hair from a dark brown and purple to a dirty blonde then I left the red in for like an hour. Washing it out looked like a crime scene and stained my tub pink but I'm very happy with the results. I choose splat this time because when researching red dyes it's rumored to be one of the longer lasting bright shades. #splat

If you want a simple kit to get a crazy hair colour this is for you. The bleach works well but is almost impossible to mix well in the container provided. The colour is vibrant and long lasting but there are drawbacks. It is messy to apply and will stain everything it touches. If you get it on your scalp it wont be coming off for a good long while. Also be prepared for the colour to run every time your hair is wet. That means showering, swimming, misting hair, and sweating. If you sweat at night it will be on your skin and pillow in the morning.
