    Not worth it

I’m conflicted about this dye only because it worked for a few days but failed to last a while. If you want something short term it okay but it didn’t hold up for me, I will stick to the few good dyes I have used

I was not a fan of this dye. No matter how I put it on, it dyed my hair all different shades from purple to pink. It made no sense. It also is super gritty, making it hard to mix with conditioner to make it more pastel. It also faded out to a pink when it was supposed to be purple. Not impressed.

It does give u bright nice colors ,however it stains everything and runs everytime u get your hair wet. The bleaching powder will damage your hair on the first use .

I'm a fairly adventurous person when it comes to my hair, I've used a lot of hair color products, from drug store to salon quality, and this doesn't hold a flame to any.

Right off the bat I knew something was amiss when the provided bleach gave less than one level of lift on virgin hair. After getting my hair to the adequate level and tone to take dye, I was disappointed that the color my hair came out wasn't at all true to the box.

The staying power was terrible, after one wash the color was half as vivid as it was initially.

For such a poor color outcome and the amount of damage the bleach did with such a small amount of lift... It was a disappointment, to say the least.

I can't stress enough that box bleach and color kits are the least effective way to achieve a look.

I liked Splat because for the first week or so that I had it, it was bright colours, wasn't washing out or anything, it turned out the colour that I had expected, and didn't damage my hair too much. The only downside, was after the week, it started changing colours and it didn't stay in long enough. I expected to spend just over 15 dollars for something that would stay nice for over a week.

Try the red. Wasn't enough bleach or color to do a short hair cut and was expensive

This was just an average hair color for me. I didnt feel like color held at all. within 2 or 3 weeks, all the color had washed out, even without shampoo. It is definately a temporary color. The bleach strength also wasn't quite what I needed. I would just go to Sallys and get it all there.I prefer Ion Brilliance Brights

First off, I've used Manic Panic in the past with normal results. I chose to dye my hair green recently, and after searching many stores, all I could locate was Splat in neon green.. not the shade I wanted, but I figured it was close enough. I did a test strip on my light brown hair processing for an hour - it barely showed. Did a second test for 3.5hrs and it looked exactly the same. For a third test I tried bleaching and processing for 4hrs.. the tips and roots of my hair had bleached almost white and took the colour well, but the middle was more champagne blonde and turned out closer to yellow than green. After 1 wash, only the tips and roots of the 3rd test strip retained any colour. That colour was gone within 2 more washes, which was ok for my purposes. So, I used the enclosed bleach and ran out with 1/4 of my hair undone.. (I have fine hair that's longest layer comes to my shoulder blades, so I should have anticipated the possibilty) Once it was fully bleached, I let the green process for about 4hrs - I had extra dye leftover. The colour actually came out darker than expected (more of a really vivid emerald, which is what I really wanted) and held well for a couple washes, but decided once reaching green highlighter colour that it would not fade any more, no matter what I used to try to encourage fading. I probably wouldn't mind this if it were the blue or purple, but I HAD to get rid of the ugly chartreuse. Have dyed over it once with a permanent intense medium red, which has taken in a weird maroon/orange/blonde effect.. I'm personally completely displeased with this product, though people who don't mind bleaching their hair almost white and either are ok with a weak version of the colour remaining indefinitely or intend to maintain the colour might like it.

I tried it and was extremely unsatisfied. I looked nothing like the box and it damaged my hair badly.
