I read that boar bristle brushes are better for the hair. Spornette offered the best price and their delivery (from Amazon) was speedy. The paddle brush is a bit big for my hair (shoulder length) but that is all I was able to find at the time. Nonetheless, I like it. It feels like a head massage! Don't expect to use it for untangling hair, it's too soft for that.

Love it! Its sooo soft and leaves my hair feeling great! It also doesn't rip my hair out like all my past brushes.
