Loved it!

I’m not a tourtiere aficionado, but loved it. Tasty crust and I liked the soft meat texture. Was expecting it to be really dry, but it wasn’t. Served it with roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed garlic and dill potatoes and pickled beets. I wanted seconds, but resisted.Pic of hubby on seconds though.

If you like a tasty tortiere, avoid this one.

The taste is bland, like bottled baby food. Someone forgot about pepper and some other spices to give it a bit of panache.

The pastry is fatty rather than light.

Better than homemade!

These St. Hubert Meat Pies are so good I would even go so far as to say they are even better than homemade!

Ces tartes de viande à la Saint-Hubert sont tellement bonnes que j'irais même jusqu'à dire qu'elles sont encore mieux que faites maison!
