Didn't do much for acne for me, but it's a great clarifying scrub! It smelled good and it's friendly on the environment unlike the plastic beads in other scrubs.

This stuff is such an effective scrub at an amazing price. If you have sensitive skin it might not be the best option but maybe try not scrubbing so hard in sensitive areas, it also isnt a good idea to use if youre going to have prolonged sun exposure. I have breakouts on my back and this was effective, i found it just as good as the more spendy proactiv scrub. A great tip is to use on legs before you shave for an extra close smooth shave.

This scrub for sure will exfoliate and remove dead skin cells but I found it to be way too abrasive to be using on your face specially on the delicate skin around your eyes. It claims to control oil and that is because it really dries out your skin due to the salicylic acid in this scrub.

This scrub irritated my skin specially around my cheekbones area and it broke me out on my forehead so I immediate stopped using it for its intended purpose. I have resorted to using this as a body scrub because the gritty apricot beads are great for exfoliating dead skin cells on arms, legs, and feet.

As a body scrub, this will work but I would not recommend this at all to use as a facial scrub. There are better scrubs on the St. Ive's line including the Green Tea Scrub which is a lot more gentle on the skin.

I have been using this product for about 15 years, starting out in middle school. I love it. I have tried the gentle one but it does not compare - the rough grittiness of the walnut shell is what I love. I actually go out looking for natural soaps made with walnut shell in them because it is such a great exfoliator (why is that word underlining as incorrect on a beauty site??)

This is one of those products, however, that I find myself forgetting about for often months or years at a time; for whatever reason other products I try get me excited about new things and I forget about the good ol' trusty ones.

I do find that sometimes too much squeezes out accidentally when you are using this which makes its per-use cost almost double.. however I also tend to mix just a smaller-than-pea sized amount in with whatever cleanser I happen to be using to have great exfoliation with every face wash. Its also a great body wash for a couple times a week when you want a really good deep scrub (or if you work a dirty labour job..)

For the price point, it works fairly well. I went one week without it, and my makeup was getting splotchy. Once I used it, it became a lot smoother and easier to glide on.

Small is good my skin feels fresh after using this product.. cost effective for my budget and lasts a long time seeing as you use such small amounts.

I have been using this product for years now and it is awesome. I used to have a lot of tiny blackheads, and now I just use this in the shower (scrub very gently) and it works wonderfully. The price is really great if you can compare it to other similar face scrubs. You can usually get this for about $3 on sale and there are coupons out there right now too!

My husband also uses this, and it doesn't leave any scent so he's happy that he can use it without smelling like an apricot! :) I should note that he used to have terrible breakouts of blackheads and this has really cleared up his skin.

I actually also use it on my legs too and it helps take the dry skin off in the winter.

I would highly recommend it; I currently have about 4 bottles in stock since I buy them on sale, and I am sure I will be using it for years to come!

I have skin allergies and find it hard to get products that don't make my skin react to them. St Ives does this it makes my skin feel great and I get none of the allergies symptoms other facial cleaners give me. I finally have great skin and love the way it makes my face feel.
