I've had this scrub for awhile and have used it multiple times. I hate having to throw products out; it works as a basic scrub to remove makeup and oil but I didn't notice any difference in my blackheads. I also find it really dries out my skin. I will not be repurchasing this product.
I bought this based on a recommendation but I believe they may have reformulated this product recently. It smells great and is a good exfoliator if you're looking for something that isn't too harsh but still exfoliates the skin well. It is a very affordable product but in regards to blackhead removal, I did not find it very effective. I've switched from microbead exfoliators to chemical exfoliators due to the damages these types of products can cause to the skin.
I tried this product maybe a month ago... I ended up giving it away. It smelled funny and didn't help my skin in anyway. Pretty disappointing because I absolutely love St. Ives however, this is one product I wont be buying again.
This is a pretty good scrub to use weekly. I rotate between this and another scrub that I have right now and use them on a weekly basis. It does a great job removing dirt and oil and getting all the dead skin off your face so I really like it for that. However, it hasn't made any difference at all with my blackheads. I will continue to use this up but next time I am buying a scrub I will try something new to see if it can do a better job getting rid of my blackheads.
Although I have heard many good things about this product, and know a lot of friends who rave about it, it did not do much for me. I prefer the apricot scrub over this one, which is surprising because I am usually head over heels for anything with tea in it. This didn't help to prevent or reduce any existing acne so it really did nothing for me. I much prefer their apricot scrub which both smells amazing and actually works towards clearing up your acne!
The product smells great and I like the graininess of the scrub but i did little to nothing to help clear my skin.
It's just meh. I find it doesn't really do anything special for my skin and made my eyes sting, however my teenage daughter who has acne prone skin seems to like it, I'll stick with my St. Ives apricot scrub!
