Great for exfoliating the dead skin away

I like the St. Ives brand in general as it works really well with my sensitive skin. When I came across this body wash and I saw that it was exfoliating as well, I had to try it. The scent if very fresh and the scrub is the perfect amount and size to gently exfoliate my skin and to make my skin feel really clean. This is my go to body wash as it is 2 in 1! I highly recommend this product.

Mmm In Love With This Scent

I have been using St. Ives Sea Salt & Pacific Kelp Exfoliating Body Wash for 6 months now and might I say, it is now my favourite body wash. This product comes in a large 650 mL bottle that is 100% recycled plastic. A small amount works into the perfect creamy lather, and so it lasts forever! It very gently exfoliates the body, leaving my skin feeling soft and smelling amazing. The scent does not linger for long after application and is very mild for the small amount of time when it does. I could sit here all day just sniffing the scent of this product. This product is made with 100% natural exfoliating walnut shell, sea salt and kelp extracts, but the product itself is not 100% natural. It is made from plant-based cleansers and is cruelty-free, however.

I have seen many others compare this scent to sitting seaside on the beach. It did vaguely remind me of the sea, but I have only seen the sea once in my life and all I smelled were the piles and piles of seaweed. I definitely need a better experience of the sea and sandy white sand!

Bottom line, I enjoy the scent of this product, it works great with my body and fits in great with my budget!

Great ingredients; not as good as original

Now I love that this brand is growing with the times and is using natural ingredients, non GMO, non paraben, etc. I really love that and will continue to use this product especially since the bottle is huge! It's even gentle enough on the face as I've a bottle of face wash with walnuts as exfoliants too. However, for body, I would want something stronger. As a regular gritty body wash, this is fine every few days or so because it's creamy but I'd be forced to buy another product as an exfoliant. I do really like any combo with sea salt tho. I may be different here compared to others but I'm looking for the feeling of dryness... I dunno how to describe it but this leaves you with the feeling of some film left on your skin which for some people may be soft or smooth but to me I want to feel clean. Especially after a scrub man. It doesn't have a strong smell either.
