I've been using St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub for a while now, and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it does an amazing job at exfoliating my skin, leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, and deeply cleansed. The apricot seed powder provides a gritty texture that effectively removes dead skin cells, and the scent is quite pleasant—fruity and refreshing without being overpowering. However, I do find that it can be a bit harsh if used too frequently. The exfoliating particles are quite coarse, which might not be ideal for sensitive skin. When I first started using it daily, my skin felt a little too raw, so I reduced it to 2-3 times a week, which works much better. I also make sure to moisturize well afterward, as it can be slightly drying. One thing I appreciate is that it’s paraben-free, oil-free, and made with natural exfoliants, making it feel like a more natural choice compared to chemical-based exfoliators. The price point is also quite reasonable, making it accessible for a budget-friendly skincare routine.

It works but too rough for the skin!

This use to be my go-to many years ago. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and exfoliated. However, skincare has advanced and physical grains in skincare like this one can cause micro-tears on our skin and do more damage than meets the eye! Therefore, I’ve discontinued purchasing physical exfoliants like this one.

My fiancé has been using this scrub for a few years now, and I had never tried it because I always had my own (from another brand). One day I ran out, so I used his. And it was the best thing that ever happened to me, I love it! I use it every day now, and my skin is so soft and healthy. I recommend this brand!

I love this product!

My daughter and I have oily and acne prone skin. This cleanser is gentle on the skin bit great for feeling fresh and helping to get rid of dead skin! Love it!

Great product that has been my go-to since they discontinued Japanese Washing Grains at the Body Shop. Easy to find at retailers, great price and product lasts a long time. Does a great job exfoliating while not going too deep.

A Classic for a Reason!

I think this product is like a million years old..and for a reason! It exfoliates while keeping the structural integrity of the skin, it smells wonderful, it is affordable and available in most drugstores and even discount stores. I highly recommend it!

Not bad

It's my go-to for cleaning and exfoliating but it is very abrasive and causes redness and micro-scratches. When I apply moisturizer afterward it always burns when I use this product although it doesn't burn after using other products. My face is always red and irritated after use for several hours even if I don't apply anything after. It's an amazing product for removing dead skin and gunk, and I always have a glow

This is GOLD!!!

The little beads are what make this the most effective exfoliating face wash! The apricot scrub is definitely my favorite product to remove dirt and any impurities on my face. Immediately after using on my nose the blackheads always seem to vanish. I would definitely recommend being very careful and be light handed when working the St. Ives Apricot Scrub in circular motions because this product is very exfoliating and the beads can be a little too imbrasive if you have sensitive skin so just be very careful not to scrub too hard! Overall this facial cleanser/scrub is amazing and I highly recommend getting this product for a better overall complexion!!
